"I want you to give him to me for a night."

The thing in his chest isn't convinced. It doesn't make his hollowed yellowed eyes blink, does nothing human or even alive. Right now it isn't sharing hardware. But it's what she has to say next that makes it truly consider.

"You do that, and he'll be better than he's ever been – beyond anything you could achieve. You won't ever have seen him like it."

If it is aware to what it is she's referring it makes no notion. Those eyes stare at her overlong, stripping her down to the sum of her parts, contemplating in that silent sinister way it sometimes has. Bots do that. Making conclusions out of ones and zeroes, a subtle shift the difference between a siege or silence.

She has grown… familiar with it. Accustomed, one might say. In turn it knows entirely too much about her. Whatever secrets spoken are not kept, not even in his memories, for the entity sees all. It is harder to cover those tracks. It makes her uneasy, a frame of mind that's ill–advised for continued negotiation but she won't falter and that pride she knows it respects.
