FREJON is a coconut milk and bean soup which is eaten especially during Holy Week by a selection of Christians, mostly Catholics, across the world. Countries where Frejon is popular include Brazil and Nigeria, and also Sierra Leone on Good Friday, or for functions such as weddings. Wikipedia I actually grew up eating these on Good Fridays at home where as a Family of Catholic Origin, we fast, and while we break our fast it's with Frejon, we have a tradition of not eating meat on Good Fridays, because of the Crucified Body of Christ, and so Fish was a substitute. THE TRADITION OF EATING FREJON has continued till today as the picture with this post is my meal for today prepared by my One and Only Wife LAWRENTA.
