If someone is close enough to her to touch her scars, she won't mind it.

---unless it's her facial scar. she does NOT like when people touch the scar or the tattoo around the scar on her left eye. she will become noticeably uncomfortable and, if exhausted, may become unmistakably upset in the way of an anger outburst or even tears.

for that specific scar, regardless of touch, she will simply not enjoy it.

She is at her wits end. In a modern world, she never understood the gradual change to everything being electronic. Remembering passcodes and passwords was a pain in the ass already but now with newer machines needing a swipe of a card to even function in the first place was pure insanity to her.

"Fuck." Is all she can mutter under her breath. It was already so late at night.

She wanted to be home hours ago. Eat dinner with her god kids and hear her best friend ramble about the shit show that supposedly happened at the shop.

Hell, she rather be back at her ranch with her temperamental mares chewing at her hair for attention.

Instead she is stuck here, substituting for a friend, who she will remember to strangle when he returns, fighting with a photocopy machine that is currently rejecting her passkey.

yui glances up at veronica, her scrutinizing eyes reflecting as if they were red in the low light. yui looks the other person up and down, then blinks. this person definitely does not know the ins and outs of the town—they must have come from a bigger, safer city.

patching up wounds = accepting.

idia shifts into a better sitting position. his ribs and hip hurt. he doesn't want to look at the wound. he can feel it. he was lucky he had managed to evade the worst of the assault invoked by uncouth barbarians of people... but the situation had spiraled out of control fast, an S.O.S. had been sent off by his tablet on accident, and now here he was with a hospital-grade wound in veronica's apartment. the worst part of all this is that she's taking time to get involved with tending to his injuries and doesn't seem to be dissuaded by his objections.

"i prefer tea." his reply was callous, cold, and instant. ciel sat across from the assistant, hands placed delicately in his lap. sebastian stood behind him, silent and hidden from veronica's eyes. "earl grey preferred, if you have it."

Instinctually Bandit kissed them back, feeling warm all over. He wrapped his arms around her middle, then pulled her closer to gently embrace her.

When he pulled away, he just smiled.

“Thank ya, darlin’.”

As Jon turns the corner, the sight that greets him is one that is not an unfamiliar one. He wishes he could be surprised, that this isn't just another day for him at this point, but then he would be lying to himself and everyone else. Instead, Jon glances between Veronica, the knife, and the body in turn, a small sigh escaping him.

"Would you like some assistance getting rid of them? Which of them was it this time?" He had no reason to believe that this would have been caused by anything else but another avatar trying to have a go at a member of the Institute's staff, as they had been doing more and more recently.
