Access to basic healthcare remains a luxury for thousands of families living in rural and tribal pockets around Coimbatore. Rising consultation costs, distant hospitals, and language barriers keep many people away from the treatment they genuinely need. Universal Peace Foundation saw this gap and decided to act — not through policy papers, but through direct action on the ground.

The organisation regularly organises free medical camps in underserved communities, bringing qualified doctors, diagnostic equipment, and free medicines directly to people who would otherwise go without care. These camps cover general medicine, dental screening, eye checks, and basic diagnostics — covering some of the most neglected areas of rural health.

For many participants, these camps represent the first time a doctor has examined them in years. The human impact is difficult to quantify but the gratitude on people's faces is unmistakable. This is why UPF has built such a loyal community of supporters and why it is widely regarded as the Best NGO in Coimbatore for health outreach.

The medical teams are supported by dedicated volunteers who help with registration, crowd management, and follow-up care. Corporate sponsors and individual donors fund the medicines and equipment. The whole operation runs on a combination of passion, discipline, and community trust that is rare to find.
