Freediver tales place in a world with portal technology that allows the bottom of the ocean to be connected to the vastness of space, a two-man crew to fix communications cables that were damaged by a meteor shower.
Freediver is too short. The author tried to build an interesting character dynamic between the two divers, however the extremely short length meant there wasn't enough space for making complex characters without ignoring the plot or ignoring the plot for the characters, which ends up making both feel half-baked.
