"Ishimaru-kun, surely you're not invested in Halloween too, are you?"
âNo, I donât exactly plan on doing Halloween this year, Ikusaba-chan.â

âIâm not gonna let you put up with that.â
âReally Mukuro-chan, Iâm fine. You donât need to worry about me.â Ishimaru sighed a little, averting his gaze momentarily. He really hated worrying people like this, especially when he knew that it was seriously bothering him. Honestly, his pride was just too much.
âI can deal with it on my own..â

âHello short one #4!!â
@freckledmercenary
âDamn it, damn itâ GODDAMN IT!â
The Soldier felt awful to say the least. In every stomp around her bedroom, every step of frustration, feelings sheâd typically have no problem sealing up for the sake of a mostly civil image were now pouring forth past her iron mask. She wasnât aware of anything else, especially not the boy thatâd come by the door sheâd apparently forgotten to lock in her bout of emotional instability. All Mukuro could pick up on were her own growing thoughts of darkness and every âwonderfulâ perk it came with: Sadness, guilt, resent, shame, but most of all.
Anger. An emotion Mukuro rarely ever showed to anyone or allowed herself to feel.
Without knowing it at first, the Soldier had flung her trust Fenrir knife across the room until it stuck flawlessly into the space surrounding her door, just barely missing the ignored visitor. After she came back to most of her senses, Mukuro panted and looked around at the mess of a room that one could mistake a tornado had defiled it. Bedspread frazzled, papers tossed, ammunition scattered carelessly, and that was without saying anything about the several holes in the wall reflected by Mukuroâs aching fists.
âPathetic, absolutely patheticâŚâ Mukuro breathed to herself in the mirror that was lucky enough to be untouched by her previous rage. âYou ought to be ashamed of yourself for being born in the first place! Why canât you do something right for once?!â Now she was outright screaming at the hot mess of a reflection, her vocal chords strained from the sudden burst of force she now gave her throat today than she would any other one.
The empath bites his lip, standing outside of the loud bedroom filled with a remarkable aura of pure anger. Kazuki knew damn well who the owner of the room was, the normally stoic and civil seeming soldier girl, Mukuro Ikusaba. As much as he knows it might not be the wisest idea, he canât help but enter the room, sensing the twangs of pain and sorrow inside of her...
zzzzZZING
The poor boyâs eyes shoot wide as dinner plates as a knife just avoids his face, impaling itself into the door frame beside him. Well, this was off to an absolutely wonderful start. He canât do much of anything but watch as Mukuro continues to break down right in front of his eyes, too shocked from his near death experience to say much of anything. Silently shutting the door behind him to avoid anyone else peeking their heads in, Kazuki takes a few more steps forward.
â... I donât think youâre pathetic at all, Ikusaba-san...â Kazuki says softly, gently, a hand on the wall as he keeps from moving right up next to the girl immediately. Better to be prepared on the off chance she lashed out in shock and fear at the sudden intrusion. âSorry, I heard the yelling and felt the anger coming from in here, and I felt like coming in was the best idea. I, uh... you.. want me to pull the knife out of the wall, or will it be okay there for now, or..?â
âWell, r-regardless... Yeah, I know this isnât exactly my place of all people to be trying to console you, but.... I think I more than anyone could understand your place, given my own... Just... Ikusaba-san, you are in no way pathetic, and donât you ever let anyone tell you that you are, even yourself! You know as well as anyone that youâve got an incredible talent, and on top of that Iâve seen what a devoted person you are. I wonât sit and try to pretend I know you inside and out right now, but... youâre amazing, Ikusaba-san, even if you DONâT see it.â

âWhat are you....â It took Kamukura two second to finally understand where he is located. Not in his room. Before he wanted to question why Ikusaba was in his room, but now he understood it was quite the opposite.
âI apologize. It appears that i somehow ended up in the wrong roomâ Kamukura was already in the sitting position. He had almost no clothes at all, muscular fogure, pale skin, all that was free open to the girls eyes. He did not seem to be conserned by it, stepping out of her bed, looking around for where he left his clothing.
âIt appears three days without any sleep cause me to lose my sense of the world around me, a shame, really. I will be going nowâ He said as he finally stood up from the ultimate soldierâs bed. He clearly did not see anything wrong with his state, nor he was very quick in covering his body, perfectly seen to other. Typical Kamukura.

Heâll admit, the activity seemed a tad unorthodox to him.  However, after hearing her confirm she wished to interact with him, he became delighted.  On most days he was shooed, occasionally he was tolerated -- being invited for play set him off guard, though he obliged.
âCertainly, then.  I apologize, I have not played this before; Iâm not sure what it is I am supposed to do.  Well -- ... what is it you wish to dress as?  So I may get an idea?â  He did not wish to accidentally upset her by choosing a wrong outfit, if that were possible to do.  For now, he decided heâd follow her lead.  It was a learning experience.
