I met Kore Yamazaki during Heroes Made in Asia. I gave this drawing of Frau Faust I made.

She gave this signed print of the Ancient Magus' Bride in return:

We exchanged many "arogatou" and bows.

I have described myself as always having been imbued with a fervent longing to penetrate the secrets of nature. 

[…] I was, to a great degree, self-taught with regard to my favourite studies. My father was not scientific, and I was left to struggle with a child's blindness, added to a student's thirst for knowledge.

I ardently desired the acquisition of knowledge. I had often, when at home, thought it hard to remain during my youth cooped up in one place and had longed to enter the world and take my station among other human beings. Now my desires were complied with, and it would, indeed, have been folly to repent.

So much has been done, exclaimed the soul of Frankenstein—more, far more, will I achieve; treading in the steps already marked, I will pioneer a new way, explore unknown powers, and unfold to the world the deepest mysteries of creation.
