halloween week 2017 ↳ day five: Frankenstein MD + Robert aka The Creature

Well, that was never good. 

          as i mentioned a million times before, i’m dropping some threads -- mostly smut. this is nothing against any individual writer, but, for the most part, i’m trying to limit any smut to 1-3 threads per character/individual who is not a main shipping partner of mine.

          there may be more to come, but for now, this is the list.

zoe is bae omfg. as much as i want to be selfish and keep her all to greedy little myself, i can’t not recommend her because her killian is fucking amazing. he’s so thought out and layered and her writing is actual perfection. her love of captain wolf gives me all the feels and all of our threads together are just ... they give me life. writing with her is effortless and i just love the muse and mun to bits and fucking pieces.

actual victor frankenstein tho. tim’s in-depth analysis of victor is not something you find very often for a secondary character, and his treatment of a character that had so much potential but was cast to the wayside surpasses anything and everything in his canon arc. if you were ever iffy about victor ( which, shame on you because that poor guy got the short end of a stick, man ), tim’s spot-on interpretation will change your fucking mind in a heartbeat.

one of the fucking best original characters out there. seriously, i will always maintain that the way sarah writes, the way she really understands her character ... it kind of boggles the mind that cerberus/jal isn’t part of the once upon a time canon because you would swear he was. creating worlds and verses with her is so god damn effortless and she destroys with feels. seriously, my favorite oc and you should all be following.

          Ruby’s stomach was in knots as she set the carefully wrapped box beside her on the couch, verdant orbs focused on the clock above the mantle, counting down the minutes until Victor would arrive home from work. The previous pregnancy tests had been carefully discarded elsewhere, not wanting him to figure out the secret she’d been keeping for weeks in an effort to surprise him with the announcement. It was silly, saving the news for Valentine’s Day ( and he would probably scold her for not getting a check-up and an ultrasound the very second she found out ), but she’d wanted the holiday to be special and something memorable. Romantic gestures were never reserved for one particular day for either of them, but telling a significant other about a baby was something you only got one shot at ( well, multiple, if another pregnancy were to occur, but Ruby planned to get through this one first before thinking about a second ), and she intended to do it in what was undoubtedly a cheesy and completely cliche way -- it seemed appropriate for the holiday.

          When she heard the door, her gaze promptly snapped from the clock to Victor, a smile on her lips as she grabbed the box and moved to the door. Greeting him with a kiss, she thrust the box -- wrapped in red and tied together with a pink bow -- into his hand. ❝ Happy Valentine’s Day. Don’t ask questions or argue, just open it. ❞ Her eyes remained locked on his face as he pulled apart the ribbon and opened the box, a positive pregnancy test laying on a layer of tissue paper with a handwritten note beside it that read ‘we’re having a little monster!’
