Lessons in frenglish from the french side:
When encountering a past participle in french we usually just add -ed to the end to englishify it and say it with the most french accent.
Example:
English: he has prepared his ass
French: il a préparé son cul
Frenglish: il a prépared son butt (saying the -red part like the color red with a hard r of course) (using butt here because it sounds cuter)
If one of these guys exists in both languages like "touché" we will use touched (tooshed with the ed like red or edward)

J’aime to parle cr et c’est so fun mais sometimes je feel like I’m doing ce wrong
I just sent my mom a text “my bad pour tout ça” cuz she’s the one who went to get me pizza and there was some complications at the counter and she just responded “pas ton bad on pouvait pas savoir”
my roommate and i both speak and understand french to a certain degree (they speak/understand more than i do, but they were in french immersion as a young kid so that is to be expected)
as a result we have decided to train our cats in french and english just for funzies
for example: we don’t say “stop! that’s not for you mister!”, when our cats get into things they shouldn’t. we are far more likely to say « arrête! ce n’est pas pour toi monsieur! »
or if they’re screaming at us for something it’s often « quel est ton problème? » instead of “what is your problem?” before they start to lead us to the issue
i swear to gaud if we ever need a pet sitter for any reason they are gonna be so confused by all the little quirks we have with our cats
