the coloring for the top was the betty crocker pastel gel colors. I had to use the whole pink tube and then like half of the yellow and green.

Pear frangipane tart
Frangipane Hamantashen
(I downloaded someone else's recipe for the filling but ommitted the almond extract (yuck) and added a drop of anise flavoring (yum). If you don't like either flavor, I recommend a little cinnamon.)
Incredibly delicious. Not really giving Hamantashen anymore, but a very good pastry.
