I mean just what their dynamic could be is really interesting to me. You have two people from really prominent families who are expected to act like a certain way to keep up the appearance of said family (more so Francis than Morrigan), neither have which really rebelled in a way that would scandalize thr family to the general public*. I feel like if they were to get into a relationship it would be more about finding the self through the other, and being able to relax around eachother in a way unique to only themselves. either that or it could be as a way to rebel against their respective ‘families’ (I say this in quotations because the darlings werent really morrigans family? But I guess in the next book there’s kind of going to be more pressure put on her because of their expectations), to me they’d have a fling or two but nothing ever that serious, but I can definently see Francis wanting it to be more serious as the years go on.
