Un'elegante locomotiva 625-017 serpeggia sbuffando lungo il fiume Oglio alle porte di Palazzolo, proveniente da Paratico, sull'incantevole lago d'Iseo. I colori dell'autunno in Franciacorta e gli ultimi raggi di sole della giornata disegnano un quadretto molto suggetivi e fuori dal tempo.
Questo è veramente un luogo del cuore, che frequento ormai da anni, come da tradizione all'inseguimento dei treni storici che occassionalmente fanno la loro comparsa lungo questa antica linea ferroviaria restaurata in modo impeccabile, e come miraggi a cui si stenta a credere, spuntano all'improvviso da dietro gli alberi queste macchine fragorose, a rompere per qualche istante il silenzo della natura in questi angoli di paesaggio italiano dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato, come per incanto. Poi d'improvviso di nuovo il silenzio, il fruscio del vento, il cinguettare degli uccelli... fino alla prossima corsa.

This is truly a place dear to my heart, one I've frequented for years, following in tradition the historic trains that occasionally appear along this impeccably restored ancient railway line. Like mirages you can barely believe, these thunderous machines suddenly appear from behind the trees, briefly breaking the silence of nature in these corners of the Italian landscape where time seems to have stopped, as if by magic. Then suddenly, silence returns, the rustle of the wind, the chirping of birds... until the next ride.
