Earlier this year I was honored to be part of a body project that showcased all different types, and through that experience I’ve been working on my own body confidence and practicing more self love. We all come in different shapes and sizes and colors, and learning to love and honor your body is important. It’s the only one you’ve got. Of course I have my own insecurities, but I’ve been trying to focus instead on exercising for health and fitness goals rather than reaching a certain weight, doing things that I enjoy like hiking, and eating for health AND enjoyment. Your goals don’t need to be the same as everyone else’s as long as they serve you and your happiness and health.
