Okay so, first of all: Sans. Sir. SIR. EXPLAIN YOURSELF PLEASE??? Like you're my one of my favorites, but SIR.

Also the whole festival bit was very adorable, very hilarious, I loved it, and I'm sorry because I don't remember too much from it since I was playing in the Dark World a lot longer lol.

Speaking of! The flowers (flower people? The heck do I call 'em?) were so cool! I loved learning more about them and their personalities because I was like "ooo soul lore", plus they were all so cute! Aqua especially. Although I couldn't help but wonder why Seth was the only one who wasn't called a color (if I remember correctly, anyways)

And also, Flowery. Man, at first I was REALLY turned against him--mainly thanks to that boss fight. I can't even count the amount of attempts on his boss fight, but the punch timings were KILLING me. As were the lilypad things on Aqua and Seth's segment. It took me a little bit to figure out the mechanics of the fight, but that was mainly due to my own foolishness haha. I did really like it.

Also, it's crazy how fast I turned from actively rooting for Flowery to be beaten to immediately hyping him up when The Knight came and took Asgore away. When I saw Flowery start chasing after them and enter battle, I was like "WOOOOO!!!!" Needless to say, what next followed was absolutely emotionally devastating.

As for the last part...

First of all, make sure you're creating for yourself above all. This sounds straightforward, but it's easy to slip into thoughts of "what can I do to make my comic more appealing" or "what would people prefer to see in a comic" etc etc. If you create something you're happy with readers will love it too! Every type of comic has an audience, but the most important person to please is yourself.

Don't set your expectations for yourself too high. I started out trying to post 2-4 pages every week - and that just wasn't feasible for me. Some people can draw faster than others and that's okay! Set a pace for yourself that is comfortable and keeps the fun alive working on pages. You don't want to stress yourself out over a project you're doing for fun. Be free and work at your own pace!

Take good notes! The amount of detail in note taking varies wildly from person to person as well as the type of comic you want to do. If you're just sticking to main events you don't need to write a lot down, but if you want to focus more on character relationships it's always helpful to have more information to pull from to make your story. The way I take notes is to write everything down initially, and then go back later on and weed out irrelevant things that don't suit my story. I have two note docs where one has all the information, and the second has a concise outline where I add in dialogue tidbits or scene notes. Some people completely wing it and that works for them! Just find a method you're comfy with.

Don't be afraid to change things! You're making a story for YOU after all. If some prompts or events don't vibe with you, change them! Don't feel pressured to stick to anything you're not happy with.

As far as motivation goes, don't force it! It's okay to have sporadic updates. Find an art style and routine that is easy to stick to but don't shy away from taking breaks. Breaks are important!

Most importantly of all, just start! You can always change things up later if some aspect isn't working for you. My best advice is to not spend too much time planning or else you can fall into the trap of trying to perfect things before you even get started. The first couple dozen pages of my comic are wildly different than what I make now. You'll learn and grow and change things along the way and that's totally okay. This is something for fun after all! A lot of people (myself included) really enjoy seeing a comic change and improve along the way. Don't be too hard on yourself if the first few pages don't turn out exactly how you want. Keep moving forward and all the wrinkles will get ironed out as you go!
