Some weeks ago, the new platform was announced where QsS will be publish from now on. It will be weekly and it will be on the Naver Webtoon platform.

Sadly, I do not have the time to translate it for now.

It's not over yet with the situation with the former publisher, Foxtoon (폭스툰). Recently, the company put up this notice as a popup on their site:

"투믹스 불법게재 서비스에 대한 안내

독자 여러분께 안내 말씀 드립니다.

 당사가 적법하게 독점적인 게재권을 갖고 있는 작품들에 대하여 주식회사 투믹스에서 2018년 4월 6일부터 불법적으로 웹툰 서비스를 제공하고 있습니다.

 당사는 2017년 8월경 다수의 여성 작가들의 성희롱 등의 제보와 사내 자체 감사를 통해 알게 된 업무상배임, 횡령, 사문서위조, 업무방해, 허위사실유포, 명예훼손 등의 사유로 인해 전(前) 모PD를 업무에서 배제하고, 수사기관에 형사 고발 조치를 취한 바 있습니다.

 이러한 조치는 웹툰업계의 건전한 발전을 도모하고, 위와 같은 피해가 재발되는 것을 막기 위함이었습니다.

 그러나 안타깝게도 주식회사 투믹스는 위와 같은 위법행위로 당사와 작가들에게 피해를 끼치고,당사와 체결한 경업금지 약정 등으로 인해 타사 이직이 불가한 위 모 PD를 영입함은 물론 당사에 독점적 게재권이 있는 작품들을 사전 경고에도 불구하고 불법적으로 자사 웹툰 플랫폼에 전격 게재하고 있는 것입니다.

 주식회사 투믹스의 위와 같은 행태는 중소 웹툰업체의 적법한 이익을 무시하는 불법적 행태이고, 한국 웹툰업계의 건전한 발전을 가로막는 대형 웹툰업체의 횡포라 할 것입니다.

 이에 당사는 주식회사 투믹스의 위와 같은 불법적이고, 부당한 조치에 대하여 단호하게 법적 조치를 취함과 함께 저희와 같은 중소 웹툰업체의 생존권을 보장하는 차원에서 그 부당성을 널리 알릴 예정입니다.

 존경하는 독자님들께서는 이러한 주식회사 투믹스의 불법적인 서비스와 행태에 동조하시거나 동참하지 마시길 간곡히 부탁드리는 바입니다.

What this says is that they are suing another comic site, Toomic (투믹스), for publishing some of the authors that left in the incident.

 Apparently, the authors had used sexual harassment that occurred behind the scenes to them to push for their contacts to be severed and their publishing rights to be returned. This was supposed to be given, according to the Webtoon Association, but it seems that Fox doesn't see it the same way.

The Webtoon Association is demanding that the rights be returned, Foxtoon retract their threats towards the artists, and the artists that have been out of work to be reimbursed for their time out of employment;

"그동안 저희 웹툰협회는 폭스툰 피해 작가님들의 요청으로 정당한 권리를 찾기 위한 수 개월간의 노력을 기울여 왔으나, 폭스툰은 오히려 고료 반환을 청구하고, 생계를위해 타 플랫폼으로 이적한 행동을 불법으로 규정하여 압박을 가하고 있습니다. 이에 대한 (사)웹툰협회의 공식 입장입니다."
