Oh boy, anon, don't even get me started with headcanons. I have to speak, otherwise, my life won't go on right. We'll go off of just if they're living normal lives, but I'll sprinkle in some canon too ;)

A small amount of NSFW below as well for the freaks! Nothing too serious, but proceed cautiously if uneasy!

⤷ FOXHUNT HEADCANONS (Ryland Grace x Will Graham)

• Ryland and Will I think would've had traveled to meet somehow; like Ryland visiting the east coast for a science event or Will having to go to the west coast for a case that desperately needed him. It's a bit silly to think that maybe they'd be long distance for a while if this were the case? But I think it's funny to think about how they'd have to call each other all the time from across the country.

• Ryland wouldn't be used to east coast weather, but Will would be fine in west coast weather.

• I think that after a while of dating, they'd go on a fishing date. I think they'd both like the water, though, Ryland wouldn't be used to wearing fishing gear; boots, pants, anything like that in the water. Will would find it amusing and try to just focus on teaching Ryland how to fish. Following the fishing though, I think Ryland would suck at it. He'd try real hard, but he'd probably end up doing something like lose his glasses in the water they have to stop to find them. Will wouldn't mind, but I think he'd be a bit disappointed their fishing trip didn't go as planned.

• Will and Ryland will often just sit down and talk about science for hours and how they all connect to each other. Will isn't just science, but he still knows his stuff! Ryland would be impressed with it,

• Ryland gets 10x more lovey dovey than Will, and it kinda puts Will off, but that only causes Ryland to get closer and Will just has to handle it until Ryland catches the cue. take backs.

• Following this thought, I think that their communication would vary. Since Will isn't very open about what he feels--maybe because of shame or fear--he doesn't tell Ryland to back off, but if he likes it, he doesn't make it obvious either besides subtle things that Ryland doesn't pick up well.

• NOTE: I don't think they'd be necessarily toxic, but they both need to go see someone to talk to if you know what I mean. I'm looking at you, Will.

• Ryland had never had a dog of his own in his life--or any pet, really, so when he first met all of Will's dogs he got all smothered and it really frightened him at first. But slowly, he got used to them and loves them all just as Will does.

• Ryland would love Abigail! He'd be very afraid of Hannibal... like... deathly afraid.

• Will loves Eva. No takebacks.

• Will comes to the middle school after classes (doesn't want to see the children) and just watches Ryland work in silence. It gives him something else to think about other than crime.

Now for some canon things...

• Will would be very confused on why Ryland wouldn't be picking up his phone if they were long distance. Worried, maybe. He'd pace and have nightmares about scenarios of would could've happened to Ryland. He'd check the news often from San Francisco just to make sure there wasn't a report of a murder in the area. Then, he finds out that Ryland is on the Hail Mary and he just freezes. It isn't quite grief, but he knows what he's losing is a part of him that he didn't even know had made it's place so permanently.

• Same goes for when Will is locked up. Ryland is much more frantic. He'd fall into habits at biting his nails and pacing the same way Will would. He'd hope nothing happened in the field, that Will hadn't been shot and was in the hospital. He hoped his dogs were okay and they were thriving. When he hears back from Alana or Will, he finally just musters up the courage to buy a plane ticket and fly out to the east.

Summary: Fox has to flee after killing the Chancellor and as the events unfold he gets hunted across Coruscant by CorSec (not something to worry about) and the GAR (something to worry about). But his Corries have his back, as always. They won't let someone take their ori'vod away from them.
