He is very naive and childlike, it makes me recall when he tried to convince Zoro he was oh so cool.
Yeah, I saw a lot of ‘was he always like this?’ comments and like...the first time we met Kaku he was literally just throwing himself off of buildings for fun, so I think it’s completely in character for him to get super excited over being in a new place full of things he’s never seen before.
