This is a project I did for Kragerø Kunstskole in 2021. (I also printed them out into small booklets that I sold at a small art exhibition on Jomfruland. So a few people have a physical copy!)
The concept was about a woman who ran around and documented different creatures from Scandinavian folklore(Some of these you can find in other places around Europe with different names and tricks to them)
I wanted to add a final part where she is spirited away, and her friend Aksel would have to go to the mountain to save her, but I was too short on time and just hinted at it in the text.
I figured I'd finally translate the whole thing and post it here since I've been quiet for such a long time due to work on my comic. (Apologies for the grammar, but it's probably clear that English is not my first language lol)
And since I'm getting closer and closer to finishing my comic, I figured I'd post something that's both relevant and outdated.
Anyway! I need to continue my work on my comic Trollbundet!
(That hopefully will be able to release this year!!!!! AAAAAAHH!)

ODD
I almost joined Fabletown RP... Decided I wouldn't have time, but I like my nokken inspired fish man
Would've been a bartender, and offered to teach his music if someone gave him a bit of their drinks lol
Enjoy!
Grim
I have been slowly screenshotting all the enemies in god of War Ragnarok cause I can. So now you get to hear me yap about them :D Here we've got a Grim, which is, from what I can find, vaguely based on Fossegrim in Norwegian folklore, and that's very big vaguely. They're both water creatures, but these are violent fantasy monsters and, unlike the folklore, aren't known for playing the fiddle. They give more feral goblin vibes than anything else and are really weak.
Cursed Grim
This "Cursed Grim," as it's called, is just the chubby ranged variant of Grim. I wonder if they've just eaten a lot and have indigestion, or if the cursed part has something to do with seiðr magic? Given that the other main poison enemies in the game are the Reavers, corrupted by said magic, it wouldn't be out of the question
