when Annabeth was called to Chiron for an 'emergency', Percy was starting to get worried.

ESPECIALLY when he wasn't allowed to go with her.

fr he just sat and sulked in his cabin for the whole half an hour she was gone.

But he was v confused when Annabeth came strolling into camp's borders, hand-in-hand with a smol child, no older than 10.

The girl showed no emotion, other than casting some rather nasty glances at the campers staring at her.

But, being Percy, he thought very little of it.

UNTIL

DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN

Chiron called him to The Big House where, surprise surprise, the girl was standing, holding a glass of water.

Percy's full name is Persasseus Jackson, so he starting pulling faces at the child, who pulled even stupider ones right back at him.

Then Chiron's face turned into the 😐 emoji, and he looked Percy dead in the eyes, before looking at the child.

"Show him what you just showed me."

She tipped the glass of water over, but the water did not fall.

It moved as her fingertips did, and Percy starting choking.

Could it be? Another child of-

"All Hail (Y/N) (L/N), daughter of Poseidon, god of the sea."

Mr D slammed his head against the table, groaning something along the lines of 'Holy Heracles, not another one!'

She frowned, clearly not amused at the glowing symbol above her head, and she turned to Percy.

"Why is there a fork above my head?"

Afterwards Percy, being her new brother, had to show (Y/N) around all of the cabins, before stopping in front of the Poseidon cabin.

"So this is fork man's cabin?"

"Poseidon's cabin, yes."

She frowned again.

"Why does he have a fork?"

"It's a trident-"

"Fork."

"TRIDENT."

gods, this kid was starting to get annoying.

But, as she ran off into the Poseidon cabin to make herself at home, Percy couldn't help but smile at the girl.

Maybe she was annoying, but he had a sister, and he would be lying if he said he wasn't going to protect her unconditionally.
