Recently forged 2.5 lb crosspeen hammer with my new slitting punch set up. It leaves me with a lot more material for the cheeks . Which is great. Gave a quick test run this morning of my new @saignc thor designed hammer. I will have to admit, his handle design will take some getting used to, but that isn't a bad thing. It fits my #forging grip well. It performs fantastic and I mean fantastic. I got the 3 lb version. This is 5/8" square tapered with a curl, then shouldered, then tapered again and finally the peen was used to spread the material. It did awesome.
