Few things more devastating than wanting to recommend a show to ppl but the only place it exists anymore is to purchase digitally on Amazon 🫠

Last year I got one of the last five physical copies of the dvd set that were left on there and now even those don't exist for sale anymore. I'm sure it exists somewhere pirateable on the internet, but as a very niche 2014 show with one season I haven't been able to reliably find it.

I just want ppl to know ABC's Forever exists, I will never forgive Netflix for not picking it up when it got cancelled; it's one of the few shows I've actually participated in signing a petition to save, and that was back when I was in fucking highschool. This shit has haunted me for twelve long years and it is a shame it never got the light it deserved

#forever abc #legit the reason it got canned was because it got the death slot (11pm on a Thursday if I remember correctly) and didn't get a fair chance #this show was fundamental for my 16 year old brain developmentally #if you have a couple bucks and like urban fantasy detective shows immortals and messy family dynamics I genuinely recommend it #I wish it was more accessible but whataya do #genuinely a gem of a show #there's a reason I own this shit on dvd #hot immortal M.E. his aging son and hot widowed detective running around solving crimes #very unusual character dynamics that are fucking incredible bc the cast has crazy charisma together #it's only one season and should have gotten a few more but even though it was canceled it does end in a satisfactory way #I'm probably gonna do another rewatch and be obnoxious with gif reblogs here soon lmao
