New figures added to the AVE or Avian Vector Encyclopedia: Forest Robins, once considered one species, now split into three (or eight, according to one study).

Found in parts of western and central Africa, these Old World flycatchers inhabit the understories of lowland forests. Foraging on or near the ground in dense vegetation, they eat insects and their larvae. They build open cup-shaped nests from moss, bark, dry leaves, stems, rootlets, and other materials, often in tree roots.
