"Do you really expect us to believe your scribbles are art?" a guy called out.

Marinette looked around to see a guy glaring at her.

'Is he talking about my designs?'

"Art is expressed though different mediums" Marinete shouted, slamming her hands on her desk.

"Coloring isn't art." he pushed, rolling his eyes, "Princess."

Marinette opened her mouth but a voice rang out instead, "Yet, you consider your demented word scribbles 'art'. You take spray paint to walls; a child could do that."

Doug glared at him, "Of course you would defend her!"

'Huh?'

Everyone looked around, trying to figure out Doug's outburst.

"It's obvious!" Doug continued to shout, "The Wayne favortism strikes again! Wayne has to defend his new little sister!"

"What?" Marinette cried out, pointing at Damian, "I'm not related to that guy!"

"Neither are his brothers, but when has that ever stopped his Dad?" Doug countered.

"I'm....confused." Mari stated.

Damian sighed, "Father tends to adopt children. They usually have black hair and blue eyes, as their characteristics."

"Why?" She asked.

The Wayne heir shrugged his shoulders, "They were here before I was. Also, Marinette is not adopted into his family."

'It is possible he was looking for children with his likeness. Although the others have turned it into a joke, as today displays.'

"I'm here on scholarship." Mari declared.

"By the Wayne family!" Doug cried out.

"Yes, but-" Marinette tried to explain.

"See!" Doug continued.

"Will you shut the fuck up?" Marinette shouted.

Doug remained silent. He never expected her to fight back against him. Damian was the only Wayne that was known for fighting back in public.

"I don't know what crawled up you ass and died, but I didn't join the foreign exchange program to get bullied by some rich asshole again!" She shouted.

'Foreign exchange? Isn't she another adoptee by the Wayne family?'

"I'm on the foreign exchange scholarship." Marinette continued, "My parents, both of them, are very much alive and I'm from Paris, France. These 'scribbles' as you so-called them, are part of my fashion business! I have created countless fashion designs and I make money off of these. I have had these 'scribbles' on Paris runways and people wear them, performing at concerts! As for what Damian said, your 'word scribbles', I consider that art."

Marinette brought up a picture of Alix, "She is the daughter of one of the Louve curator's, but she prefers the same art as you. She knows more than anyone that art comes in many mediums but if you want to come after me; I'm ready this time!"

Doug remained silent, realizing he had underestimated her. He assumed right away, she was Wayne material simply from her looks.

"Sorry." he mumbled, sitting silently.

Marinette turned around and took her seat. As the class dismissed, Doug quickly made sure to avoid her.

It had been three week, since that day, and it was extremely noticeable that Damian Wayne had taken to hovering over the Parisian girl. The only solace that others received was that she seemed annoyed with him.

"Really?" her voiced came out, excited, "I've been looking for some art supply stores. All the ones I found weren't really good quality or it was just children's school supplies."

"I can take you after school." Damian suggested.

"Wait?" Marinette countered, "You're taking me?"

The Wayne heir nodded.

"You can just give me the address, you know." Marinette replied, "I don't want to disturb your day. I'm sure your busy."

"Not at all." Damian declared.

"Uh, okay then." Marinette smiled, "I'll see you after school."

The bell rang, ending the conversation. Doug watched as the halls began to clear out, but he was the only one who seemed to noticed the Ice Prince's smirk.

'Well, fuck! She hadn't been Wayne material before, but it seems Damian wants her to be now.'
