My beautiful, crazy state is about to take a serious beating. My vacation to the BVIs in 3 weeks has been cancelled, wrecked and destroyed. My personal life has changed drastically and my heart is spinning like a tornado. There is SO MUCH change going on. There is an overwhelming, heightened awareness that is tense and exciting but also very, very draining. At first it felt like I was suffocating. I kept fighting it and trying to mourn it and understand it in hindsight-but it was too much. I had to let it flow. I have mourned too much in this life already. I accept the fact that there are feelings I can't describe and intuition I can't explain. So I'm embracing the change. This crazy commotion. This hurricane of physical and mental abuse and growth.
