Bridgerton AU (galactic empire and force-sensitive version)
Every planet holds its own nobility, but the Season always takes place in Coruscant — where titles are flaunted, reputations are made and destroyed, and marriages can seal the fate of entire systems.
The Emperor, Palpatine, rules with his iron smile. His “court” mirrors a Regency aristocracy: powdered wigs are replaced by embroidered uniforms and courtly robes; hover-carriages glide through the marble avenues; soirées are held in glass-domed palaces suspended among the stars.
The Force exists — though in this world, it is regarded as both divine blessing and dangerous inheritance. Force-sensitive nobles are prized matches, though often feared. Force users usually study at the Temple on Coruscant for a few years, a mix of schooling, religious and military training, also they don’t have to devote their life to the Force. Both Anakin and Obi-Wan attended the Temple at different times. Both had Qui-Gon Jinn as a mentor.
Anakin, 23, is the Emperor’s legitimized bastard (son of a maid) and Prince of the Empire (Prince of Coruscant, Duke of Naboo). Known to be incredibly strong in the Force, his signature, like a storm or a dying star for other sensitives.
Obi-Wan, 42, (one of the) Prince(s) of Stewjon and (ex) Duke-Consort of Mandalore (through his marriage to Satine), widower and father of Korkie, Duke of Mandalore. Force sensitive whose signature is particularly light. Known as the Negotiator around the Galaxy.
Anakin and Obi-Wan meet for the first time during the Season, sparks fly. They are both intrigued and notably attracted by each other’s force signature (Force Dyad). Anakin quickly gets a crush on Obi-Wan and tries to seduce him, while Obi-Wan tries to avoid any sort of drama and feelings. Obi-Wan came for Korkie and never had any intention to meet someone and remarry. He is using all his skills to avoid widows and meddling mothers but cannot seem to shake Anakin. They fall in love, and it’s very inconvenient considering their situations, not that Anakin cares, he would give up his titles for Obi-Wan. While Obi-Wan knows what Palpatine is capable of (he believes Palpatine killed Qui-Gon), and that he wouldn’t hesitate to get rid of Obi-Wan and his family if he came in the way of his plans for Anakin.

Because I can't be the only one that sees the potential
Eleonora knew that she was able to move objects with her mind since she was five years old. And being the lazy girl she was and would hopefully remain she had used it as much as possible. Phone laid forgotten on her desk? Just a question of her mind. The water bottle right next to her? Sure she probably just could have stretched her arm out but why do that if she could use her mind to let the bottle hover above her and do the job for her.
Hell, the first time she had forgot her keys at home she had gotten the grandiose idea to learn how to first open the window for her and then get her keys through that window and then close it again.
She had felt drained for a while after that. Her mind had ached as if she had just come back from a workout.
It had taken her some time to figure out that even that would lessen the more she used it. It was just like a muscle. You simply had to work it with breaks and it would get stronger and stronger.
Elle had been seven when she found out that she could make herself hover. It had been after a disastrous tumble from the swing that would have ended up with a broken arm if she hadn't stretched out her arms in reflex, her mind doing the rest.
Her mother had seen in happening. She had hurried over once she had thought her child in danger and watched as she hovered above the ground for a second before tumbling to the ground with a smack that could have been much worse.
Her mother, that night had pulled her aside and talked to her about her grandmother, who apparently had been able to do the same thing.
No one knew what it was, where it came from or why or how it happened.
What Jennifer Branding made clear to her daughter however was that no one was ever allowed to find out about it.
Apparently people got scared quickly.
And scared humans just weren't a good idea.
And so Elle trained it on her own. Her grandmother had died quite a while before she had been born after all and had never written about it either.
It left the young girl to explore it alone.
Looking back it might have been a good idea because she had been free in her exploration. Nothing was taboo.
She learned with glee that hovering wasn't the only thing she was capable off. One night playing on the trampoline when it had gotten dark around her, she jumped and then tried to stop herself mid air. Ten years of age, she obviously crashed back down but she could have sworn to feel this tiny pull. So she did it again.
And again.
And again.
The next two weeks had been spent with bruises from her fall and a constant headache. But she had managed.
Flying was suddenly not completely out of the question anymore and the pull she felt around her grew with everyday.
It was calming.
It felt like hands hugging her.
It was warmth.
Elle felt it around her all the time. She grew used to it and she grew to love it.
First as a child with a sense of wonder.
Then as a teenager after getting her heart broken the first time, the pull remaining with warmth. The one thing she could always depend on.
And now, as a young woman being in her last stretch of university, ready to start her life, it still pulsed around her. Calming, warming, loving.
Elle had started meditating a few years back, back when she had first started her degree realising that it took away the stress. It made her mind feel relaxed and sometimes she imagined feeling it far far away from her.
It felt like life. Like family.
But it was always so far away that she did actually pushed the thought aside. She had always been creative after all.
However, as she stepped through the woods on that evening, nothing but animals around her she felt it once more.
Far closer than she had ever felt it.
And then she saw it. Hidden away in the depth of the Alaskan woods.
Elle stopped in her tracks, still hidden away by bushes and trees.
It was a metal construction, it looked close to an air plane but she had honestly never seen something like it. And from the looks of the fire building around it, it had crash landed.
Hearing the flowing water from the waterfall she started concentrating on that, navigating a huge ball to the construction and letting the water fall on the fire.
A wild fire was the last thing she needed after all.
Not seeing anything else suspicious nearby and figuring that she would probably be fine, Elle took a careful step towards it, but jumped right back behind the tree when what was supposedly a door opened up.
From behind her hiding place she watched three men walk outside.
They were arguing but looked normal otherwise.
Except for their strange clothing. It was robe like and outside of cons she had never seen someone wear something like it. At least not in Alaska.
For some reason Elle felt her attention almost instantly fly to the oldest of them. He was tall and made a shiver run down her spine. He was dangerous. She knew that instantly. He was older than the both of them. His beard longer his shoulders similarly straight as the one with beige robes. His eyes seemed red. He was annoyed. She could basically feel it herself.
Tearing her attention back to the other two, she tried to take in of them as much as she could.
One, the youngest one, seemed to wear shoulder pads. It reminded her of armour.
“Now look at what you've done again!” The other one spoke. He was blond and wore a beard. His robes a beige, brown tone that suited him well. He sounded aggravated and annoyed but somehow like he had expected the crash landing
“How else, did you expect me to get us here at least partially intact?” The other one in his blue garbs argued back.
Before Elle could decide if she wanted to listen further her attention fell on the third man once more.
What made Elle halt however wasn't the grim look on his face but the bindings around his wrists.
That looked very similar to handcuffs.
That man was a prisoner. And she didn't think she wanted to be in those same chains, so it would probably be best to let the Aliens handle themselves and go home. Sleep and hope that she had simply been hallucinating.
Before she could take a quiet step back, the man's head turned towards her.
And that split second was enough to know that he had seen her.
“As much as I enjoy hearing your grating voices argue. There is a person. Maybe we could do something productive to get off this damned planet.” His voice, surprisingly pleasant and still sharp, made the two others stop instantly, their gazes falling onto her almost instantly.
The one in blue garbs, who was probably close to her age, somewhere in his twenties, smiled brightly at her once he saw her.
She realised it was meant to get her guard down, because it didn't reach his eyes.
“Please, we mean no harm.” The blond one called out to her.
Letting her eyes roam between the three men one last time she figured she'd be able to make a get away through the trees if necessary. But she was curious. She felt a connection. They all felt like the pull inside her. And she wanted to get answers.
“Huh, force sensitive.” Blue garb murmured in slight shock, as if he hadn't expected it.
When she stood in front of them, still out of reach just to be safe, beige – brown smiled at her encouragingly.
“Thank you, dear. My name is Obi Wan Kenobi, and this is Anakin Skywalker. Could you maybe tell us where we are? It seems we got a little bit lost in Hyperspace. The attack before wrecked our ship as well so if there's anyway we could get some parts to contact the fleet we'd be very grateful.”
Elle stared at them as if he had grown three heads and he might as well could have.
Hyperspace?
The fleet?
What attack?
“You're actually aliens. What the fuck.”
Shocked she through her hands against her mouth. God she was with people too rarely. What even were manners.
“Aliens?” The one introduced as Anakin asked.
She shook her head, letting her hands fall to her sides before crossing her hands before her chest and then letting them fall again, deciding she felt more comfortable having her hands open.
“Sorry, that was rude. Uh, I'm not sure how I'm. I mean well,” she stuttered. Meeting someone who was clearly not from earth hadn't been on her checklist.
“Speak, fool” The one still unknown to her spat at her. Geez. Maybe they should have put a muzzle on him as well.
“Excuse the count, please. He's an old man and never learned patience.” Obi -Wan spoke once more.
So they had royalty as well, huh?
“Sorry,” she squeaked, “you're uh, in Alaska. On earth to be precise. I'm not sure I can help you with anything else but that.”
Anakin looked at her as if she had grown a third head now. “Listen, we know we're standing on earth, but what planet is this? Where in the outer rim are we?”
What was outer rim even supposed to mean.
“Earth is the planet. You're on earth. I know not the most creative of names but I didn't have anything to do with the name, so you'll have to take it up with someone who cares.”
“Earth?” Obi-Wan asked again.
She nodded.
All three of them looked stunned.
“Never heard of us I guess?” She tried to joke but the situation made her more uncomfortable by the minute.
“Maybe you could bring us to your Master. Maybe they can explain better.” The count Dude tried again. He was looking at her as if she was stupid.
“Master?” She asked offended. What the fuck? “I don't have a master, nor do I need one. The hell are you talking about?”
“I think the word means something different here. You seem to have offended her.” Obi – Wan spoke.
“You don't say,” Anakin joked, his eyes never leaving her. “What the count meant,” he tried to explain, “is that you are obviously trained in the force. So we would like to speak to whoever taught you.”
Force? Was that the pull she felt. Was that what it was called?
“No one taught me. My grandma died before I was born so I taught myself. That is if you mean the pull I can feel around all three of you.”
Now they started to look worried.
“Pull?” Obi – Wan asked. “Did you not know it is called the force?”
She shook her head. “I've never come across someone like me, so I never had someone who knew about it.”
Before any of the three were able to say something else about it, all of them suddenly started to realise that it was getting dark. And in Alaska that also meant cold.
Shit. What was she to do now. She couldn't just leave them here, right? But inviting three strange men into her home, as a woman that lived alone also seemed like a bad idea.
They were Force users as well. They would be able to tell her what was going on with that. So maybe she could make an exception just this once?
“Alright then,” she mumbled to herself, before saying louder.” It's getting late and I'm kinda hungry. And I'm guessing you guys probably are as well, so I'd say lets continue the conversation at my place. You guys do eat, right?”
From the looks of all their faces she probably shouldn't have asked.
The three men slowly walked up to her. They seemed to not wanna frighten her. At least the two nice ones of them.
“He isn't dangerous, right?” She asked pointing at the oldest. Obi Wan shook his head. “No. The cuffs make the using of the force rather difficult. You don't have to worry about him.”
“So, what's your name?” Anakin asked, walking next to her now.
“I'm Eleonora Branding. Elle though, please. My full name is a dozy if you ask me.”
“Well, it's nice to meet you Ms. Elle.” Obi Wan chimed in. He seemed to be a stickler for the niceties.
“So how did you guys end up here?” She asked carefully, still not sure if she even wanted to know.
“We were one our way back to Coruscant to bring Count Dooku before trial when something hit our ship. We were kicked out of hyper space, which by the way really shouldn't happen and we somehow ended up here.”
“What's a Coruscant?” Anakin halted for a second looking her up and down. “It's the capital of the republic. You know, the Jedi order and all that stuff is there?”
“Oh, right. How could I forget.” She laughed up at him nervously. What the fuck was a damn Jedi? She didn't like the feeling of seeming stupid.
“Nothing of what I just said, made sense, did it?” He asked, pity in his voice.
“Nope,” Elle answered him, popping the p.
“Sorry, but how do you not know? How far out do we have to be? Do you at least know about the war?” He started to sound worried and Elle was grateful that she could start to see her house in the distance.
She picked up the pace. The whole situation made her head spin.
“I think you are overwhelming her, Skywalker.” That was the Counts voice. He was walking caged in between Anakin and Obi Wan.
“Anyways,” she interrupted the brewing argument, “we're here. So get in, but leave the shoes at the entrance please? I just cleaned up.”
Grumbling all three followed what she had asked of them.
“Does any of you need a shower or something similar?” Kenobi seemed to perk up at her words.
“If it isn't too much trouble?” She nodded leading him to the bathroom, explaining quickly how everything worked before turning back again to the other two men standing lost in her entrance hall.
Sighing, she nodded to herself. “I'll see if I find some clothes for you guys to wear. That way you'll at least have clean clothes. I can throw those in the washer as well if you want.”
Anakin's brows drew further up the longer she spoke. “I'm not sure, we fit in your clothes.” He tried to tell her politely and it took everything in Elle to not facepalm at him.
“Of course not my clothes. I should have some left from Tyler. It'll be a bit long for the most part but it should fit your Count.”
Without waiting on an answer she hurried into her room, where the carton stuffed with her exes clothing still remained. Shuffling through it she found some trousers and shirts. That would have to be enough for now. Hopefully they would be able to find a way out before she needed to go and buy clothes. That after all wasn't really a possibility for her. Feeding three more people would be difficult enough.
“There you go.” She handed the clothes to the two men, before motioning to her own room and the living room. You guys can go and change there. It's probably more comfortable than the garb thingies you're wearing. I'll be in the kitchen once your done. It's the room through the hall and then left. I'll leave the door open”
With that she basically ran away, after quickly putting another pair of clothes in front of the bathroom door, as she had informed Obi Wan she would do. She needed some piece and quiet. Pronto.
In the kitchen, Elle took a few breaths. She felt uncomfortable. It was the first time since her mothers death that this many people were at her place again. They were from another planet as well for gods sake.
Tapping into the pull, no the force, she corrected herself, she tried to calm herself, but it didn't seem to work. She wasn't used to feeling it around herself this much. Her fingers were starting to shiver, until a sudden wave of calm enveloped her.
It wasn't her own. Her own felt different. On instinct she tried to reject it.
“For someone who learned herself you're surprisingly adapt. If only you had had someone who actually knew what they were doing. You would have made a great force user.”
Elle had jumped in shock at the voice behind her, whirling around to face the Count.
He stood in front of her unchanged. How did someone manage to look this in control when they weren't at all and how did she learn that?
“Well, what can I say. I'm a natural.” She grinned before turning around again and finally starting to search for her fridge for something to make.
“Why are you helping us?” He asked and she could feel him move from the entrance to the table where she presumed him to sit down.
She gnawed at her lip as she pulled some vegetables from the fridge. “You're like me,” she decided on saying, “I've never met someone like me. It's kinda nice to be honest.”
Another wave of calm hit her.
“Why are you doing that?” She asked him, turning in a way that made her back not completely turned on him.
Before she could answer, Anakin strolled in, dressed in his own pants but wearing at least the hoodie she had given him. “The pants didn't fit,” He explained, “Is there something I could do to help?” He asked as he sat down at the table as well.
She shook her head. Making guests work, no matter how unusual wasn't something you did.
Before Anakin could ask something else it was Obi Wan's turn to stroll inside the kitchen. He as well was wearing his own pants paired with one of the shirts she had found. Tyler had been more on the Counts side in terms of size at the end of the day.
“Please,” he said, “we're already infringing on your space. Least we can do is help.”
Fuck, fine. It would make everything a little faster.
Sighing she gave one of the knives to Obi Wan and handed him a bell pepper as well. As she cut the onions he quietly started on that.
“So, is this your house?” Anakin asked into the silence. “It seems rather big for just one person.”
Elle let the sting of the onion hit her before she spoke. “It's the house I grew up in. My mother died a few months ago, so it's only been myself since.”
“What about your father?” The Count asked. For some reason it surprised her. She didn't quite know why, but it struck her as weird.
“Never knew him,” she couldn't keep the anger out of her voice, “he abandoned my mom, once he heard she was pregnant.”
“I'm sorry to hear that.” Anakin spoke.
“Don't let anger cloud your judgment, dear. The force is sensitive to your feelings. The calmer you are the better it is.” Obi Wan spoke and Elle felt as if a feeling of deep annoyance hit her from the Counts side. What the hell was up with that?
“Huh, so there is a connection. I wondered. I remember it felt different for a little while after my first heartbreak. Back then I chalked it up to puberty but after Mom died it felt a little unstable again for a while.”
All three men had leaned forward at er admission.
“What do you mean unstable?” Obi Wan asked.
“You know,” she started, taking the bell peppers from him since he had finished cutting them. “The usual. It took a little bit longer to feel normal in my own body again. You know that feeling of Zen you get? Like everything is fine? Just piece I guess. I had to wrestle with myself a little. I just felt very emotional. Wasn't a big deal, honestly. Probably just what you usually feel after a loved person dies.”
“And nothing feels changed since then?” Anakin asked surprised. “What's supposed to feel different?” She asked finally putting the other cut up vegetables into the pan as well. “Sure, I felt unstable. I wanted to cry for quite some time and I was a lot more on edge but I'm not gonna start throwing stuff at people no matter how much I feel like raging inside. Emotions ebb usually. Allow yourself to feel them when you're alone to process and the pull – well force I guess turns back to normal. At least that's what it's like to me.”
“No change at all then?” Obi Wan asked again.
She simply shook her head.
“What about anger? When you think about your father? What does it feel like then?” The count- she was starting to get annoyed at calling him by his title, asked.
“He's not my father.” She nearly spat. There was little that made her as angry. Still. She considered his question. The force, pull, whatever, was streaming through her. Just as normal. She could feel spikes in it like little ice spikes on her skin. It wasn't a pleasant feeling but it was still flowing as usual. Nothing she felt that was unusual or dangerous to her.
“Nope, still normal. Just flowing as usual.”
That's interesting.” Obi Wan said softly, seeming in his own mind, “and without a master even. You should be proud of yourself. Not many have accomplished that kind of connection.”
The term 'master' made her shutter. She couldn't think of it as a normal everyday turn. She'd die before ever calling someone that. What happened to pride?
She decided to finish the dinner instead of asking about it.
Sadly it seemingly wasn't up to her this time.
“The word 'Master' seems to disgust you. What is the meaning of it here?” Anakin asked, in innocent wonder. She really would have to get over it wouldn't she?
She tried the noodles first before answering. Yup, al-dente. Nearly done.
“It's just a really old term based in subservience. I can not think of one instance where there isn't some kind of weird power balance. No thank you.” With that she got rid of the water in the noodles and started plating.
“For us it's simply a way to talk to a teacher of some type.” Anakin explained.
She nodded, finally sliding on to the chair next to the Count. Anakin and Obi Wan had both seated themselves on the same side and though the man made her nervous as hell, there wasn't really another place if she didn't want to seem rude and put the chair at the head and sit down there.
Dinner was a silent affair, Obi Wan being kind enough to thank her for the food and telling her it tasted fine, where the only things spoken during the whole time and she was rather thankful for it. A light headache had started spreading. She wasn't used to the feeling of the force flowing this heavily in other people. It was an adjustment.
After Dinner, Elle rolled out two mattresses she had found up in the attic. One person could sleep on the sofa and the other two on the mattresses next to it.
She excused herself to her own room after having made sure that all three of them were as comfortable as they could be.
As she laid down under her covers, the young woman tried to make sense of every feeling she had and everything that had happened during the day.
There were three alien men, currently sleeping in her living room. One of them was a criminal, and while she felt all three around her, there was something in the force that made her more attuned to the Criminal.
Because that obviously was totally normal.
Tossing and turning for abut three hours and only having dozed off a couple times, at about three in the morning, Elle decided what enough was was enough.
Throwing the covers back and only putting on a cardigan she stepped into the kitchen. It was time for coffee and then she'd try to get some work done. There was an exam she'd have to take in about a week and she had done too little for it in the past couple days. Maybe it would get her mind of things.
Settling into her chair she pulled her legs into a cross legged seat. The coffee next to her and her laptop in front of her, she made it a whole thirty minutes before her piece and quiet was disturbed.
“I feel like you shouldn't be allowed to walk around without supervision.” She said, without looking up from her screen. She didn't need to. She already knew his force signature intimately. Which was weird but she'd simply roll with it until he was finally gone again.
“That is awfully rude. What are you doing? Shouldn't you be sleeping?” He asked, sitting down next to her.
Another thing that struck her as weird.
“Right back at ya.” She told him, then yawned and reached for her coffee. Since he didn't answer and simply continued to stare at her she realised he was expecting an actual answer.
“I'm working on some uni stuff. I'm writing an exam in a week and I still have to study. I can't sleep, hence the coffee. You guys know coffee, right?”
She took his drawn up eyebrows as a no and jumped out of the chair. With her back to her, she didn't see his eyes roaming over her body, still dressed in only a pair of shorts and the top with the cardigan. It was her sleep wear after all.
She did feel it though and quickly decided to not react to it. The man seemed like a prideful person. He probably didn't react well to being teased.
Even if everything inside her screamed to make at least a little fun of him.
“There you go,” she told him, putting another cup of coffee down in front of him. “I'm going out on a limp here, but you seem like someone who takes theirs black. The stuff is great. It can help keep you awake.
She watched him expectedly as he drank. The only answer as a 'hm' and he didn't seem like he would giver her any more of a reaction.
Spoilsport. She thought as she sat back down.
“You should sleep rather than study. We'll be off this planet in about three days I'd wager.” He told her after simply watching her work after another five minutes.
“Oh, you guys know, what's wrong with your space ship?”
There was a weird shine to his eyes. “Call it an educated guess. But I think we got what we came for.”
Yup, that was the kind of crazy she would not be touching. Good looking or not. “Well, that's great and all, but I'll still have my test, so if you excuse me.”
Elle expected fully to be left alone. Instead the laptop was pushed shut in front of her.
What the fuck?
“I wager you won't be taking that exam.”
That sounded like a threat. Was that supposed to sound like a threat?
“I will not be threatened in my own home.” She told him, the anger not well concealed. He smiled at her.
It was cold and made all the hairs on her back stand on edge.
“That wasn't a threat, dear. You will not remain on this planet. I fear Skywalker and Kenobi are already planning to bring you to the Jedi council. Someone like you could end up being beneficial in the war effort after all.”
She looked at him through glaring eyes. “Somehow I don't believe those two will be my issue.”
The count stood. “Then,” he said, his back already turned to her as he walked out of the kitchen, “you are far more foolish than I thought.”
His words froze her to her core. Yeah. She definitely needed to stay far far far away from him.
Elle would however quickly realise that the Count had been right.
The four of them made their way to their aircraft about three hours later. Finding out that nothing was broken beyond repair. They would be able to fix what they would need to and Obi Wan approached her the following night asking her about coming with them.
Elle felt overwhelmed. She had her life here. But he had made a good point. She'd finally be with others that were the same as her. She wouldn't need to hide anymore. She'd be able to learn about herself.
And so, Elle found herself agreeing to come with them to that weird Capital city.
Having packed very little, both Obi Wan and Anakin had told her that fashion was apparently quite different, she was seated with the Count in the back of the aircraft, watching outside the window in wonder as it made it's way up, up, up. Her house getting smaller and smaller in the distance.
Elle saw the moon.
She saw the damn moon. Like up close. At that she had actually jumped up to watch. It was crazy. She was in space.
Fuck she was in space.
Another wave of calm basically crashed into her. Glaring at the Count she took it as a sign to sit down again.
“Wouldn't want to disturb the old man.” She grumbled. “What was that?” The sharp response made her shut up.
When they entered hyperspace she jumped up once more. She needed to see that. It was weird as hell. A long suffering sigh could be heard next to her. What the hell was it to him, that she was excited.
“Lesson number one,” the count spoke and she could feel herself being pulled down through the force by him, “learn to shield your excitement. Not everyone wants to be bombarded by your feelings.”
Glaring at him she pushed herself in a cross legged position nonetheless. As rude as he might have been about it he probably was right.
In all her excitement she never realised that it was the first time the Count had used the force he was supposedly unable to use.
It was quite a few hours into their flight when she felt the ship come out of hyperspace. Obi Wan came into the back just a few seconds later. “We'll have to make a fuel stop on Naboo. If you want to go explore, please don't walk too far from the ship. Anakin will stay with you while I'm gone.”
She was buzzing once more when he returned back to the shuttle and it once again earned her another long suffering sigh. What the hell had she done now? Was this man allergic to curiosity?
Elle practically jumped outside the aircraft once it had landed. The fresh air hit her out of nowhere. She had never smelled air this fresh. Pollution didn't seem to be such a big problem here. That was crazy. How had they managed that?
Anakin watched her in amusement as she stared at a weirdly shaped animal. It seemed to mainly be stomach, but was still kinda cute. “What is that?” She called up to Anakin who after all still had to keep at least one eye on the count and had therefore remained on the platform way thing up to the door.
“They are called Shaak. They aren't usually dangerous, but you shouldn't get too close nonetheless.” She realised that his voice had gotten closer and when she looked up once more and away from the strange animal he was standing next to her.
“Shouldn't you be watching the Count?” She asked him. He grinned at her as answer. “The old man will be fine. Nothing much he can do with those handcuffs on him.”
She nodded looking at her environment again.
“Is it normal, to feel another's feelings through the force? I don't with you or Obi Wan, but I constantly feel like I can feel the Count and it weirds me out. How do I shut him out?” Elle asked after a while, still shaken up from the last conversation back when they had still been in her kitchen.
Anakin looked at her in alarm. “What do you mean feel him?”
She shrugged, concentrating. “Right now, he's,” she interrupted herself, “huh. He's pleased. Weird. Didn't think he had that emotion.”
Anakin interrupted her in a hurry already turning towards the space ship.
“What do you mean pleased?”
“I don't know,” she answered, jogging up to him, since he had already jogged up to the craft again, “he. Uh,” she concentrated once more, “feels like he found something important to him.”
“And right you are. I must say, I really am impressed. Your handle of the force is notable, even if unpolished. Which is why you'll be coming with me.” At his words she felt how she was being pushed through the air, then back again. Looking down she saw both Anakin and the Count with outstretched arms pulling and pushing at her.
And it hurt.
Elle wasn't good with pain.
But there was another thing that took her attention at least for a second. Both had something in their hands. They were glowing and for some reason she knew she didn't want to run into either of them.
At another push and pull, she felt how one force user had her at one arm while the other had her at the other,
“One of you will have to let go, or you will push my body apart!” She called in between the bouts of pain she felt from being pushed into two different directions. Anakin looked worried and she saw the second where he made the decision to let go of her to instead be able to attack the Count completely. She felt herself being pushed in the Counts direction, closer and closer to the red thing in his hands. She had to do something.
Trying to find her own signature in the chaos proved difficult especially under the threat of fucking dying but somehow Elle managed to find something and pulled.
It was the wrong something.
It made her hurl towards the count even faster. It was only a split second in which he graciously stepped out of her way stopping one of Anakin's hits.
Yup, that fall would hurt if she didn't start doing something.
It was the wing situation all over again.
Fuck she couldn't get her brain to
There we go.
With a huff and sweat on her face she had somehow managed to make the landing.
That had been stressful and was not worth repeating.
As she started at the two man fighting, she realised that the Count nearly made it look like a Dance. The man knew what he was doing and Anakin was quite a bit younger as well. It made her afraid for him but she also wasn't exactly in the place to do something.
Especially not, when she heard the sound of another aircraft and the Count who suddenly jumped away from Anakin. She could feel the feeling of his force pulse around her once more. Only this time she was crashed into his shoulder while he was in mid jump.
If she wouldn't have been so damn scared she probably would have been impressed. Now however she had to watch Anakin try and catch up to the older force user who had quickly gotten into the other airship with her still pressed against him.
Only when the glass window was closed above them he let the arm around her shoulder fall away, but it didn't change the close proximity because this was obviously planned for one person only.
At a sound above them she saw Anakin standing on the glass.
The count on the other hand had the audacity to roll his eyes and started flying the damn thing in loops.
She watched in Shock as Skywalker fell down and the distance seemed to get too far for him to be able to catch up again.
It only hit her, when she saw the blue of Skywalker's blade disappear into the weird contraption.
She had just been kidnapped.
What the fuck was actually happening?
And how long would she have to stay this close to this man. Because she wanted out. Quickly!
“Your use of the force under pressure is as bad as I expected it to be. I guess that will be the first thing to work on.”
He had the nerve to berate her. He was actually berating her.
Just as she wanted to open her mouth to argue back, she could feel pressure building against her head. It was a blinding headache.
“I would watch how you talk to me. I will not allow back talk. Have we understood each other?”
The pressure wouldn't let up until she nodded. Then it disappeared leaving her exhausted.
“You will remain silent until at least after we boarded the ship. Understood.”
She nodded again, her fingers starting to shake in her lap.
She had been right. He was dangerous. And somehow he had gotten into her head.
Now the only question that remained was how to get him out again.

"All living things are connected by the same thread, a thread woven through all of existence. Some call it a force, and claim to use it. But we know the thread is not a power you wield. Pull the thread, change everything. It ties you to your destiny, and it binds you to others. "- Mother Aniseya.
In the series The Acolyte (TA), we are introduced to the characters of Verosha (Osha) Aniseya, a young Meknek and former Jedi padawan, and a man who is identified as the Stranger, who sometimes uses the alias Qimir. We are going to follow the trajectory of their meeting and the subsequent unfolding of their relationship and offer proof that Qimir and Osha are a Force dyad, based on various timestamps and screen shots references in TA.
*Theory: Qimir and Osha have been connected via the Force since Osha’s childhood.*
In the first episode, Osha, accused of Jedi Master Indara’s murder, is arrested and put on a prison transport ship, when it is hijacked by escapees who flee using escape pods, leaving Osha to crash on the planet Carlac. It is while she is on the icy, deserted planet, that she first sees a vision of a little girl, who leads her away from the crashed ship. Osha follows the vision. Recognizing the girl as her believed-to-be-dead twin sister, Mae-ho, [ts 29:50] the vision compels her to follow her.
The vision of her sister seems stiff and OOC, greeting her with a rather chilling “Hello sister,” instead of what we will see in later exchanges with the practically exclusive use of the nickname “Oshie.” (Up until episode 2 - Mae believes her sister to be dead)
Not only that, but we hear male whispering (in the woods of Brendok before catching fire), similar to the kind we hear in e8 when Qimir is trying to take the helmet off of Osha’s head and he is possessed. The vision leads Osha out of the cave and “Young Mae” begins the childhood rhyme that will be repeated throughout the series:
“You are with me, I am with you. Always one, born as two.
As above sits the stars, and below lies the sea,
I give you, you & you give me, me.”
At this point, Osha chases the vision through multiple settings and ends up in their old childhood bedroom. Osha finishes the rhyme and turns into her younger self, at that time “Young Mae” smiles and says “You remember.” Osha questions "Young Mae" if it's really her, she's asked about 3 times at this point, not believing it's her.
Osha asks her if she killed Indara. Mae replies, “Yes, I will kill them all,” revealing Mae’s mission to hunt down and kill the remaining three Jedi who invaded their home and brought destruction and death with them. The vision ends. Osha is then rescued by Sol, her former Jedi Master, and two other Jedi. The final scene of episode One, we hear the mechanized voice of Mae’s Master (Qimir/Stranger) in a helmet from far away, as Mae approaches him on a rocky shore. (The Acolyte kills the Dream speech).
For the sake of building our theory, we are going to jump ahead to e3, and the preparation of the Ascension for the twins, who are eight years old, where they will become full members of the Coven on Brendok. In this episode, we see that Osha does not want to complete the ascension ceremony as her twin Mae does. Mae argues and tells her that it is just a ceremony, but Osha doesn’t seem convinced. They go into the fortress compound for their lesson from Mother Aniseya, who is instructing them on the Thread. As she gives the girls the lesson, she focuses on them both, but as she says the lines “(the thread)... binds you to others,” Aniseya touches Osha gently (ts 7:31).
It has been noted in several interviews with Leslye that everything we see on camera and in a camera shot is there deliberately and is integral to the story. Using that reference, we have remarked and taken notice of a Stranger, a hooded figure who appears/disappears during the ascension ceremony. (You see every member of the Coven’s face - even the scouts/warriors - so this is how we ruled out that this is not a member of the Coven) It is our *theory and premise that the Stranger is Qimir, as a Force projection, similar to the Force projection that occurs between the other Star Wars force dyad, Rey And Kylo*(with KOR in the forest & when Rey was a child in The Force Awakens).
We see the Stranger as a hooded figure, face unseen, without a weapon of any type, standing off to the side of Mother Koril and a bit behind Mother Aniseya (timestamp 14:13) as Aniseya announces to the Coven, “we were blessed with a miracle, the gift of Life,” as Osha and Mae begin the approach to stand before their mother.
We can see the Stranger/Qimir again in the frame as Mother Aniseya invites the twins “to come and claim your destiny” (ts 14:53)
and when Aniseya declares “what the Thread has tied together, no one can separate,”
with both the Stranger and Osha in the camera frame (ts 15:03). As the coven begins chanting “The power of One, the Power of Two, the Power of Many,” each time the phrase the ‘power of two’ is repeated, the camera frame shows first the Stranger (ts 15:19), then Osha (ts16:10),
establishing a sequential visual connection between the Stranger (Qimir) and Osha. As soon as the Jedi make their unwanted and uninvited appearance, the figure reacts and vanishes and is not seen again.
Osha sees the group and remarks to Mae about their robes and their sabers with no fear and a little bit of excitement (ts 18:28).
Despite being told to hide, when the group of four Jedi stand before the coven, Osha comes out to meet Sol. A tense discussion takes place between Aniseya and the Jedi, and she reluctantly agrees to let the girls be tested the next day.
In a heated conflict between Aniseya and Koril, the latter calls the Jedi “Deranged Monks” (ts 22:42).
It is obvious Koril does not like and feels threatened by the Jedi, which is in direct conflict with how Osha sees them, “as good”. Aniseya has a talk with Osha about how what she wants, which is to be a Jedi, will change as she gets older (ts 24:15)“like the seasons.”
The twins leave to be tested for their abilities and potential. When they return home, Osha tells her mothers again that she wants to be a Jedi (ts 31:05).
The Jedi return, a fight ensues, Aniseya is killed, the coven dies and in a fire gone out of control, the fortress is destroyed and Sol chooses to save Osha and it appears that Mae falls to her death. When Osha wakes up on board the Jedi ship, Sol asks her if she would like to train as his Padawan, setting Osha on a new path.
In episode Two, it is our theory that Qimir knew of Osha’s arrival on Olega and was trailing her invisibly in the Jedi Temple before he met her in the apothecary shop when she was disguised as Mae.
In episode two, Mae enters the Apothecary and we see a sleeping Qimir in the alcove of the shop. We found it odd that a Dark Sider would be willingly sleeping so close to a Jedi Temple. (We don’t know he is a Dark Sider at this point but in re-watches we found it peculiar)
We offer this as further proof that it is likely Qimir sent the vision using the figure of child Mae to Osha once he found out Osha was alive via her Wanted poster (We believe it was cut from an episode - see Images of holographic black series figure Osha “Wanted” [in aurebesh] for 80,000 credits - if this were cut, it would also parallel Sol looking at Osha’s Padawan Holo) in episode 1 during her brief stay on Carlac.
We know that sending a projection of yourself through the force is very tiring, even someone as strong as Luke Skywalker needing to use all of his strength in the force to project on Crait, ending with his death.
We also noted that Qimir seems very chipper and humming with excitement under the surface. He seems less worried about training Mae at this point and willingly makes the Bunta poison tincture for her even though he actually wants her to not use a weapon to kill Torbin.
Pay attention to the scene after Mae procures the poison and Qimir looks down frustrated with Mae for utilizing poison instead of attacking Torbin without a weapon. The next scene cuts immediately to Osha looking down and frustrated because she’s trying to hook up Pip to the Jedi’s ship. This corresponding visual shot shows that they’re having similar feelings at the same time, mirroring each other through their strengthening Force bond.
While Osha accompanies the Jedi to investigate the disturbance in the Temple where Jedi Master Torbin is (before Mae provides him with the Bunta poison to commit suicide), she separates from the group and looks around by herself because another vision of “Young Mae” figure calls to her, compelling her to follow. (ts 15:10).
Sol senses a disturbance in the Force as well, is spooked (ts15:40)
and runs to find where Torbin is. Osha finds the dead body of Torbin first. While inspecting the empty vial of poison, she hears a warbling sound (which we know means The Force in action) and looks above to the skylight, but doesn’t see anything (ts16:16).
As Osha explains about Bunta poison to Sol, the scene is filmed as a voiceover shot while the camera focuses on Qimir walking down the street past the Jedi Temple (ts17:27) with his backpack on (which we know conceals his true identity of the Master - holding his mask and clothing), he casually glances up at the balcony where Osha is standing as he’s eating a distinctive blue spice cream (ts17:29) like the kind the twins ate before their ascension ceremony on Brendok, further tying him to Osha and his potential time on Brendok.
The Jedi decide to question the apothecary shop owner to find out how Mae got the poison to kill Torbin by sending in Osha, who volunteered, in disguise, and armed with a blaster. She buys a long dark veil from an alien vendor (ts18:55) and follows Qimir’s path (ts19:04) to the apothecary to get more information, shrouded in black fabric, foreshadowing her eventual turn to the darkside and Qimir.
Conclusion of part One: The wanted poster showing the 80,000 credit reward is the impetus for Qimir rediscovering Osha being alive, motivating him to take the first step in re-establishing the bond they had before she was with the Jedi via Force visions using the image of Young Mae in episode One. We know it cannot be Mae sending that vision because Mae believe Osha to be dead. Only finding out Osha is alive at the end of episode 2.
We saw in screenshots and timestamps that Lesyle made a concerted effort to establish a connection between the Stranger (Qimir) and Osha in episode Three. Qimir, already strong in the Force, simply used his connection to Osha (and most likely Mae as well) in episode Two to boost his own powers of invisibility and levitation to be close to both twins in the Jedi Temple during the death of master Torbin, both drawing from and connecting to Osha, leading her to volunteer to disguise as Mae and meet him face to face in the apothecary shop. In the next segment, we will break down the significant moments in the meeting of Osha and Qimir and the beginning of Osha’s turning away from Sol and the Jedi.
