He’s actually been seeing someone new recently

okay but this must be like. the first time sakura realizes, like fully processes and puts it into words, that he doesn’t have to change to be accepted. that his own way is fine too, that it’s potentially even good. like sure he’s known that the people in makochi have accepted him, but now he’s entirely aware that he’s good the way he is—not in the sense that he doesn’t need to grow or improve anymore, but that he doesn’t have to warp his self and change it to fit the mould of another person. like i think this is the beginning of him finally accepting himself.
