So Tumblr changed their strategy: Notes for rebloggers, not OP. This robbed OP of rightful notes! Concealed from them were posts they wrote!

Farewell to banter, jokes, and games, When added text starts its own chain! "I like this art", "loved your story", Such praise takes notes from poor OP!

For text reblogs, reblogged again, Were separated from their main. OP would never know the joy Thus added to their proffered toy.

Or, on the converse, if some brute Said something cruel (or merely rude), The venom spread now on its own! Gone was OP's damage control!

Oh, horror! Oh, calamity! On both fronts harmed, oh, poor OP! The users raised their anguished cry: "Reverse! Go back! The site will die!"

So one dark day of sorrow passed. The users, angry, sad, aghast, Prepared to face their platform's end! Where would they go? Where would their friends?

Until, at last, came sweet relief. The staff, aware of users' grief, Returned reblogs to status quo. An end to fear, and to woe.
