Daniel: I may need your assistance.

Like many other people, there are so many memories I took for granted prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of my favorites was when you and I were at a mutual friend’s birthday party at the arcade. It was 2 PM and I was starving since I initially thought everyone wanted to get lunch first prior to playing. Alas, I quickly learned that wasn’t the case. Feeling like I could faint at any moment, I went ahead and ordered an avocado club with a side of chips right then and there. You told me you weren’t that hungry, but you went ahead and ordered something for yourself anyway to keep me company. I unfortunately don’t remember what it was exactly since I was too hungry to notice. But I will never forget your selflessness when you sat down next to me and kept me company. I will never forget how later on, when everyone else actually sat down at a nice restaurant and had lunch (really, linner at this point), we were the only ones not eating since you cared enough to eat with me earlier. It’s one of the many moments from our relationship that I will always treasure.
