Are your feet pedi ready? I offer a range of pedicures and this post will give you a quick break down of the two main Pedicure Brands I offer. Within each brand there are a variety of options so which Pedicure should you go for?

Footlogix Peducueticals OR Famous Names Releaf ?

Lets start by discussing the two main differences between Footlogix and Famous Names Releaf, the two brands I use for my pedi services. It’s worth noting that both are vegan friendly & cruelty free! 

Footlogix 

Footlogix is the worlds first and only Pediceutical® brand which uses innovative products formulated with revolutionary Dermal Infusion Technology® and Spiraleen® to give effective and transformational results for a variety of foot related skin conditions. Footlogix offers mini home after care options tailored to specific foot needs (such as cracked heels, sweaty feet or even peeling skin) so you can keep up with your footcare on a daily or weekly bases depending on how much improvement you want to see and how quickly. 

Footlogix carries active ingredients past the Stratum Corneum into the layers of the epidermis, helping to restore the health of the skin. This technology ensures that the Footlogix® active ingredients penetrate into the layers of the epidermis and reach the targeted areas. With no greasy outer layer to occlude it, the skin is hydrated and retains its ability to function normally, resulting in healthy feet.

I offer this Callus Treatment in both my Happy Pedicure & Luxury Pedicure options and you can also add a gel polish to either of these Treatments for just an extra £10.

Famous Names Releaf 

Famous Names have JUST launched their new Releaf Pedicure, co created by some of the biggest industry players and made sustainably with natural powerful ingredients in mind. If you’re a regular customer of mine, you may already have tried some of the Famous Names products as they make one of my favourite skin oils and lotions “ Dadi Oil” and “Dadi Lotion” which I retail and use in the treatment room at the end of most services. Fun fact : Dadi Oil, Dadi Lotion and Dadi Scrub are all named by the creators daughter Nikki who was asked when she was a little girl what to call the products... she said Daddy Oil as her father Jim created them. Incidentally, Jim also worked for CND for a time and created CND Solar Oil. 

Unlike the Footlogix Pedicure, which is considered to be a “medi pedi” or “pedicuetical” pedicure, Famous Names Releaf focuses on natural ingredients & sustainability and is considered to be more of a spa-like or cosmetic pedicure.

The creators of Releaf wanted a fun highly effective pedicure system that is wonderful for your feet, but also kind to the environment. One year in the making, they’ve utilised as many natural ingredients sourced from sustainable sources as possible and created Releaf ! 

The Releaf Pedicure line uses a new trademarked AU Complex, mixing together the hydrating and soothing properties of Allantoin and Urea as well as Eucalyptus : 

In this Pedi Range, Famous Names Dadi Lotion and Scrub have been given an uplift as well with the new AU Complex infused alongside the regular 21 essential organic oils!

I offer two Releaf Pedicures, Releaf Gold and Releaf Platinum. The main difference is the Platinum option offers a shot of the Urea in the soak to add even more hydration to dry tired feet and finishes with not just the Dadi Oil, but also a powerful CBD based Elixir (which has a 4% concentration of CBD in it) aimed to help soothe muscle aches and tensions. 

In my opinion both Pedicure brands offer a real feet treat. Once you’ve chosen a pedicure from the menu below, upon booking in I will send you a Pre Pedi Consultation form which gives me a little bit more info about how I can help you achieve your footcare goals. 

*Please note that I will refer unhealthy toes/feet to a podiatrist as these fall outside the remits of my practice and insurance. If you’re unsure if you should come for a pedi with me, just drop me a DM, I’m happy to discuss if I can help you or not and I can recommend a great podiatrist ! (This would include things such as ingrown toe nails, fungal nail infections or veruccas or planter warts. It’s best to get these sort of things looked at my a medical professional and treated as soon as possible so don’t feel embarrassed if you need to ask about this sort of thing! ) I currently do not offer treatments to male clients,  anyone under the age of 18 or offer services where clients can bring friends or someone else with them. I’m doing my best to keep to all Covid secure guidelines so we have a safe and happy space!  Thanks for your patience and understanding :)
