There is literally no excuse not to punish him now (we all know that’s what the federation has been trying to come up with). No excuse what so ever and they should punish the entire team as well. There has to be some fucking consequences to spewing racist shit damn it. And the fact that he didn’t deny the allegation at all and looked guilty as fuck when it happens shows that he very well knew exactly what he said. 

And it’s interesting isn’t it, how the English broadcast captured the audio so clearly and immediately produced the evidence while La Liga’s broadcasting agencies (The Spanish league where the racism took place) claimed they couldn’t find any conclusive evidence. How disgusting and vile do you have to be to try so hard to cover up racism? Because I can assure you if the English broadcast hadn’t stepped up and provided their clip (trying to prove the racism happened), La Liga would have buried this whole incident under a rug and pretended it never happened.

Now they will be forced to do something, and I pray from the bottom of my heart that justice will is served. That Juan Cala will banned and fined. That his team will be punished for his vile racism and that La Liga takes some responsibility for the first fucking time. This is the must evidence we’ve had that a player has racially abused another. This is the must clear cut (God, it couldn’t be more clearer, please) that racism took place. So if the Spanish football federation doesn’t do the right thing here, we might as well just accept that poc will never get justice, will never be protected against racism and I don’t think my heart could handle anymore heartbreak than that.
