Deuxmoi has said they know some stories are made up by fans (thereβs been some super obvious ones re Harry for example), and usually state most of what they write is unverifiable although they do have some βtrusted sourcesβ about things. So as you say, pretty typical of gossip sites. I think theyβve been most correct about casting and brand deals thus far actually, and much more inaccurate when it comes to music stuff. Personal life stuff usually seems PR approved when not by fans.
One of the things that is interesting about Deuxmoi is the freedom that they get by presenting a selection of what they receive and calling it unverified. It is I think a new strategy in the gossip world, and very much newly possible.
But big picture I think it still fits into the wider dynamics and patterns of celebrity gossip.
