Do you ever want to pack up and leave this world behind?

Leave behind your phone, your car, your job?

Maybe disappear for a while? Without a warning or without a trace.

Shall you heed the call of the forest, and disappear into the trees where you belong?

Maybe walk down that dirt covered road that leads to nowhere, or follow the tracks to somewhere?

Will you find yourself out there,where the heavens touch the trees?

Why does he come my in the middle of the night?

Why does he torment my thoughts?

Why does he keep pushing me closer to the edge?

Why does he enjoy my torment?

Why does he escape his cage so easily?

Maybe I should put more chains on him. Or maybe I kill him instead. Only I feel as though he is unable to be killed, or maybe I am unable to strike the final blow… so I try to keep him locked up. To bad the chains never holds for long… Maybe one day I won’t be so afraid to have blood on my hands.
