before the wedding ceremony of their co-star, joon, that was held very recently, jackson and youngji hadn’t been able to contact each other often with all the schedules ahead of them. but the event became an opportunity for the two to get in touch once again. they’d been sending private messages to each other on their spare time, especially in the wee hours of the night. it was a bit of a cliche, he thought, but there wasn’t anything wrong with rekindling a bond that was never meant to be neglected in the first place. and for some reason, along the bickering that came natural to the pair, he’d ended up promising to take her out. not a date, no. hell no. just two friends going out. on a friendly date, maybe. safe to say.
he’d thought of youngji’s cafe. make a profit out of their hang out at the same time—double whammy! but it was too much of a popular place. he’d already avoided bringing along the rest of his friends like he would usually, he just wanted to spend time with her. not sure why, though, but what he can assure was that there were no agendas. no bias, nothing.
there she was, somehow, looking prettier than the normal. maybe it was the recent promotions that got her blooming. with idols, everyone seemed to sport a new style each comeback. naturally, he’d done it as well with his blonde coif. he’d managed to sneak past her line of sight and once he’d gotten behind the clueless female who aimlessly searched for him, his hand found its way gently rested on her shoulder and his index finger sticking out on guard of her cheek tipping against it once he’d snatched her attention; his face adorned by a grin so wide it could tear itself off.
