THIS is what Iâve been talking about!
Instead of locking every house to the same height, getting no light down to road level and no life in the skyline, you do THIS: a somewhat controlled roofline, taking care to see whats close by and what the needs are, and then you have these slender spires reaching upwards, giving us many homes with good views and nice light, still letting light down to the ground.
This is what Hyllie could have been... but maybe in 20 years time it too will make some sense. But why is it so hard to do right from the start?
