Genuinely, Fogstalker and Floodstrike might just be my favorites. I love them so much.

I’m glad Ghost came to see his girls get their names. Was he just awkward being in a parent role or being around the Clan? Or is he also uneasy about Fogstalker becoming a mediator since he also had to watch Smokeyrose get murdered in that same role
For the most part he's just an awkward old man having trouble focusing over his chronic pain. He may have misgivings but he was gonna be weird anyway
I can see why Scorch may be concerned about Fogstalker became a mediator (the previous mediator, Fog’s mother too, died doing her job), but I also think she would think it’s a good idea? She saw her work firsthand, even at a younger age and recently, Fogstalker was seen doing a very good mediating relationships. Maybe we’ll see some of her thoughts in the coming updates?
(Side note: Congrats to Fog and Slate, what the hay they were kits yesterday?? I’m so proud of themmmmm 😭 I’m also very excited to see the work Fogstalker does, I would also love her to be my therapist haha)

Oughhh Fogstalker…I’m just spitballing here but I wonder if maybe one of the reasons why Scorch & other cats are a little worried about her decision to become a mediator is because they’re remembering what happened to her mom :( I’m so excited for her though, I think she’s going to do great!!
Yeah, she was in fact present when Smokyrose was murdered because she didn't realize Razor had dangerous intentions. Food for thought.
i hope Scorch doesnt end up too offended or anything by Fogstalker's decision, bc honestly i think her mentorship prepared Fog for this really well. Fog of course had trouble reading people, and still doesnt in an inate way that a lot of people seem to be able to, but Scorch teaching her all her social 'secrets' comboed with Fog's attitude and point of view on everything really helped her learn how to read people in her own way, in a way not everyone expects to be read! She's privvy to people's 'deceptions' they tell to both others AND themselves because of Scorch's teachings! I'm sure she'll have some roadbumps but i look forward to seeing how this goes :)
Yeah! Scorch is a big reason why Fog will probably be pretty good at her job (with room for growth). I don't think Scorch feels like this is a betrayal or anything, she's just concerned its a bad idea, not hurt by it personally.
Ahhh Fogstalker and Slateheart!! Perfect names! I've loved seeing them grow up, I think their arcs have been my favorite so far. I'm really excited about mediator!Fog!! I think she'll do great! And especially with the coyotes coming around more frequently? Fogstalker could be huge in fostering a favorable relationship with them for RisingClan.
