I got so much flute practice/learning motivation today from the theater show I saw today (technically yesterday) and I can't wait for it to be tomorrow (techinally later today oop) so I can take out my flute and practice for my upcoming concert since I will be "graduating" from the basic level flute studies and moving onto the advabced studies after that. I got over 7 years behind me and more to go and I'm very proud of myself for going at it for this long.
You will most likely hear more about this concert in the upcoming weeks and month as I prepare for it!
My favorite part of rehearsal? when the band director starts singing.

Update on the flute search for anyone who happens to come across this post!!!
After testing out two great flute candidates, I settled on a used handmade Sankyo 201 with open flaps, C leg, E mechanism and extended G flaps. It has a silver mouthpiece and silver-plated body tube. I will be buying it with 1600€, though it is normally (as brand new) worth about 3000€! So...This is a real finding!
It is a beautiful individual and sounds so great, though I haven't played anything in a month or so. I am very excited to actual get to use it (I think tomorrow actually[hopefully I won't break it since I've not actually paid it yet lol]) and work on new songs with it as my sole partner in crime! How poetic, haha!
Anyways, this is random but now I will have three flutes in my possession...What? Yeah, what do I do with all of these? I can start a collection lol
