[Akuneko HCs] Jealous Butlers
They’re all the jealous type even if they don’t seem like it 🤣
Especially the Home Screen lines where they’re like
“I saw you talking with other butlers and while I am happy seeing you enjoying yourself but I don’t know why my heart feels unease, I’m sorry I shouldn’t feel this way, please forgive me for saying so.”
Berrien
Berrien is definitely very jealous 👀 and canonly he has super big feelings for aruji.
Definitely the 2024 birthday card he admits to aruji he would see Aruji talking with other butlers and going back to their world and he’s really jealous skdjjsjsjns he just keeps his feelings down but when you reread events you can really tell Berrien has secret possessiveness throughout especially like summer event where he puts a jacket over you immediately, giving you the meat skewer he cooked, for butler’s Christmas, he also lets you drink the soup he makes first, and when it comes to tea, it’s always him who makes it for you, and whenever his head is deep in his work, the moment he hears your voice he would react right away but when it comes to other people he couldn’t hear them 😭
After all with Berrien has been waiting for such a long time for you. And you were the one who released him from his pain, you’re the fated one and especially for white day, he made the Baumkuchen cake with lots of layers and the meaning of that is spending all time with you.
He’s also a master at hiding his feelings but when it comes to aruji he just keeps slipping out 🤣
And there’s also the ring lock from Halloween. 👀
Lono
Lono is also a really straightforward boy who’s like “for some reason I don’t feel happy seeing you with that guy…Oh! SORRY DON’T MEAN TO SAY THAT-“ but you can really tell from his face right away 🤣
He’s really easy to tell, and he would most likely keep staring at you and if he gets reminded by others, he’ll be like “m-my bad-!!” Kdjdkdjs
His possessiveness would slip out when it comes to cooking, because he wants you to eat his cooking that’s why he would try his best to research the food in your world too, so he can make it for you!
He also gets lonely easily but because he’s usually busy doing a lot of things so he would wait for you to come back and I think he would put his jealousy as a push for his training, especially with Bastien XD sjjsjsj to further himself better but he can get hotheaded
Bastien
I feel like Bastien seems like the type who doesn’t really get jealous but I think he’s definitely the type who didn’t even realize he’s jealous until later when he figures out his feelings XD
He’s usually occupied with training and food but he’s certainly also the jealous type as seen in butler’s summer where his first reaction of seeing you in a swimsuit is that he’s worried for you like isn’t this too revealing- sjdjsjsjs
The moment Bastien realize he’s jealous, he would be like “Oh…so I’m feeling jealous. Arujisama, could you stay by my side more?”
Although during Home Screen line, he did say that he also feels strange seeing you talking with the other butlers and also he asked aruji if they prefer butlers who can speak well because he usually listens but doesn’t talk too much 😭
Haures
Now Haures he’s the one I think is the least jealous XD
The reason why I think that is because he views his fellow butlers as his precious family.
He seems to be the type who would put others above his own needs.
But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get jealous 🤣 Aruji definitely takes up a huge place in his heart as seen in episode 2, he really cares about them deeply, but I think also like Boschi, Haures is also quite confident in himself too, he wouldn’t lose to other people, but at the same time he’s trying his best to improve his housework abilities because he knows that’s where he’s lacking, and he wants you to rely on him more (I think that’s his possessiveness right there) he wants to be the one to protect you at all times, and you always feel safe with him.
He would do whatever it takes for aruji.
Adding on to Haures, he really strives to be better with making food and drinks, you can really see him in a lot of card story during Christmas and his birthday, he really wants to cook for you and become better at it for you 🥹
Boschi
Boschi is definitely also part of the least? Jealous group, because he’s confident in his abilities, especially he’s so well eloquent in so many fields (the man is too good he cooks, he makes your drink, his design sense is amazing and he can protect you)
But his possessiveness definitely comes out during Valentine where he’s like “you’re also making other sweets for the other butlers right? I hope you’ll only give them to me next time.” SJSJSJ
And Boschi’s also like “you got me right? Don’t move your eyes away from me.”
And also for white day, he’s the only one who makes caramel latte (a drink) compare to the other butlers, because he wants to be the one who stands out to you, someone special to you.
He really cares about aruji, even to the point he wants to have your name carved in his metal arm (especially during first anni where they’re like what are you going to leave behind when you passed away, and Boschi said his metal arm 😭) he’s not afraid to have intimate interactions with Aruji, calling Aruji by name, wanting them to lay in his lap during flower viewing, he pretty much sees you as his partner already XD
Ammon
Ammon wow
Ammon is definitely part of the top jealous butlers 🤣 he seems like carefree about it but noooooo
HE’S SO JEALOUS
I remember one specific line I think it was a special limited line that you can unlock with the voice line but it doesn’t appear in the Home Screen anymore 😭 but it was like Ammon showing aruji a flower whose flower meaning is like “Popular person” and Ammon is like that’s you with the butlers~ he’s like I know we usually change flowers the moment you feel bored of it but sometimes the flower doesn’t wanna leave ya~ (he’s talking about himself)
I remember him saying it so seriously it got me shooked XD I was like Ammon????
His flower line was the most intense out of the other 12 butlers
Because he pretty much tells you even though you’re popular, he still gets very jealous so make sure not to leave his side sjjjsjsj I think I’m paraphrasing but
He also straight up admits that he’s a very jealous person too SJSJJ
The moment Ammon shares his pain with you, the moment he opens up, that’s where he shares his most vulnerable side and that’s only with you.
He trusts you deeply, and he usually is so distrustful of others. (He even wants to listen from outside your door when you first came to the palace but then he’s like nah~let’s not do that but he wanted to see if you have another face in a private setting)
He’s usually the type to hold other people’s weakness and hates revealing his weakness to other people, so if he really shows his weakness to you, that’s his possessiveness right there, everything about him he’ll give you, and he wants to know everything about you, your different sides, what you love, what you hate, your strengths and weaknesses and everything about you blooms in his eyes.
He really care about you just like him with his flowers. He would spend so much time caring for you, and he wants to change for you too, to become more reliable and strong.

But he’s a really serious person who really thinks about his future with you since money is really important.
He’s not afraid to spend money on aruji even though he usually saves a lot XD

Also canonly heavy feelings 🤣
Binded by his low self esteem, he really wonders if he can be by your side, yet when he sees you with other people, he also feels jealous.
(This is going to be long 🤣)
And he’s also easy to read like a book too so he can’t really hide his jealousy, despite his smile.
In the Home Screen line, he can be bold, where when he’s asking if he can spend the time with you, and he’s like ah, but as a butler, maybe it’s not appropriate…then afterwards he’s like “…actually, My apologies, I want to spend time with you.” He can be bold like that and also in one of the homescreen lines he’s like “I want to know about Arujisama, the information others don’t have.” Because they all share the same info about aruji XD sjsjjs
The way he’s in charge of intimate roles like in charge of bath assist and massage (very intimate) I bet that’s where his possessiveness comes out and he wants to be super useful to you because he also feels scared he couldn’t be by your side as the main butler so he also said if there is anything that you are unsatisfied about me, please tell me and I’ll fix them right away!
And also he knows there are many capable butlers but he still wants to be by your side at all times and in second white day, he also gifts you a butterfly motif collar pin so you would be remind of him a lot.
During the first Valentine’s Day, he requests for a hand made butterfly necklace because he wants to have something that’s special from aruji.
Also in the first white day, he made matcha cupcake, which he wants to be different from what the others gifted too djdjjsjs so you can really tell his possessiveness. (Also in summer butler card he puts a jacket over aruji because he doesn’t want others to stare at aruji too sjdjjsj)
Lamli
Lamli is really straightforward about his feelings, if he feels jealous, he will tell you straight away, and even tries to drive the others away (like the nobles 🤣 and other people walking on the streets who are threats to aruji) he would show his possessiveness by holding hands together with aruji, hugging aruji, even tries to call aruji by name, he just wants to spend all of his time with you and want you to have lots of fun!
He wants to be the one who can make you smile the most.
When he loves, he fells hard and he would devote all of his love to you. He would remember all the good things you do for him and he would do whatever it takes to help you.
Lamli is definitely in the high range of jealousy level because you can see him out right having rivalry against other people 🤣
If you could pat him and only him he would be over the moon 🥹
If he sees you praising other people he would look at you with puppy eyes and be like what about me 🥺
Nac
Nac hngggg the man who’s like “Arujisama, do you mind a man with strong desires?”
Nac despite his calm looks, he’s bursting with praises for Arujisama, and he’s not afraid to compliment Aruji’s beauty.
He can really see the beauty in many things but Aruji especially, he can notice so many things that maybe others wouldn’t realize, because he’s got amazing sight XD he would have Aruji in his sight at all times, and especially for white worship, drunk Nac really wants to be with aruji, and during the butler now?
He covers you with his coat so you walk together while talking with him so he can be bold like this 😳 he gifts you a key necklace, where necklace are close to your heart.
He wants to be the key to your heart and the way his very first intro line in the official site is “don’t worry Arujisama, I’ll be walking along by your side when you face your future, I’ll shine a light in your way.” He’s just so caring in every way, you’ll depend on him so easily 🥺
He envies Lamli for being able to convey his feelings so straightforwardly 😭
Lucas
Lucas wow
He usually is like haha JK
But he’s not haha jk at all XDD
Lucas I feel like he’s mid high in the charts XD

Who gifts you nail polish and watch because he wants you to belong to him-
But his possessiveness is also secretive sjjsjs
During butler’s summer and yukata I think both Ammon and Lucas gifts love blessing related charms to aruji so he’s definitely interested in aruji romantically and his heavy feelings are shown during butler’s wedding and Home Screen line where he said I will love my partner until death do us apart.
He’s Aruji’s personal doctor, so he definitely knows more about Aruji’s body than other butlers—//slaps
With wonderland event, while Hanamaru Nac Lamli and Yuuhan are fighting, he’s the one who comes super close to Aruji, and also like Ai said during butler’s summer, he’s the strategist who immediately lets Aruji lie in his lap JSJSJ so he’s definitely the type who slowly takes over Aruji’s heart just like chess to checkmate jsjsjsjjs
He also admits, “when I see you with other butlers, my heart feels uneasy, it must have been jealousy, fufu.”
I don’t have this card but rose Valentine you were in a room together with Lucas and he wants to observe you and all your cute expressions JSJSJJ
Flure
Flure is also in the mid high range of jealous type XD sjjddw he would slip his jealousy out accidentally too and he would blush so hard and tries to change what he says but as he gets bolder I think he’ll admit it straight away (but still blushing hard) “Yeah…!! I am jealous…can’t I do that?”
Flure’s possessiveness definitely shows for the clothes he makes, he knows about Aruji’s preferences and what makes aruji shine and looks amazing.
Everything from top to bottom, Flure would coordinate for aruji, and you can see in every event, Flure, despite his busyness, will always make your clothes for you.
He enjoys making your outfit a lot and when he sees you wearing his masterpieces, it’s an accomplishment, and it also shows other people that he’s the only designer for aruji. 🥺
and that when you head out for events, he’ll always be by your side in the form of his clothes. Flure also says straight away he wants to be Aruji’s only butler and during rose Valentine he wanted to spend longer times with aruji.
When he sees others, he would be muttering “I wanted to do that too…” and for wine Valentine he carves the fruits into heart shape wanting aruji to eat them sjsjjsjs and ofc in wonderland he’s also disappointed Aruji found the gem to go home XD sjjsjs he feels super down not being able to see aruji when Aruji couldn’t come back because he had been waiting for Aruji all day
You can really tell Flure really cares about aruji when he himself is scared of dying but still puts his life over to save aruji telling them to run away in his initial butler story 😭 and then in second anniversary being the one to shoot the arrow to protect aruji he really works his hardest for aruji and he wants to be able to fight by himself to protect aruji
Lato
Lato the canon heavy feelings in the game~
But for some reason when he’s compared to Berrien he doesn’t seem that jealous anymore 🤣🤣🤣
Lato definitely had strong possessiveness over aruji, even telling Aruji he wants to tie Aruji to a chair or keeping Aruji in this world, but he knows he doesn’t want Aruji to feel restrain in this world because he himself doesn’t like to be restrained so he wouldn’t do that to Aruji but in honeymoon knights card, he wants to be with Aruji at all times, even after death, they’ll be together always.
He’s one of the butlers who confess to Aruji straight on, “Aruji is the only Aruji for him, and he couldn’t think of another person as his most precious person.”
He views Miyaji and Flure as his precious family so I don’t think he would be jealous of them but for other butlers, it’s a definitely yes XD sjjsjs he’s definitely the one who doesn’t want you to leave and go back to your world and if you were to die, he said he would be demonized again and there’ll be no one to stop him so he wants to meet you djdjdjdjd really heavy feelings for Aruji so he’s also one of the top jealousy butlers~
Miyaji
Miyaji is the surprising contender because I thought he would be at the very bottom of the jealousy charts but noooooo he’s just hiding his feelings that’s all XD sjjsjsj like the anklet he gave during White Day where he also admits his possessiveness is slipping out.
And also in episode 3, all he could think about is Aruji, Lato and Flure and he hears Aruji crying for him and it made him want to live.
Miyaji at the beginning didn’t want to live and sees himself as someone unworthy. But after meeting Aruji, he even considers marriage, wanting to marry Aruji, and also Aruji became his reason of living again, he’s afraid of being closer to Aruji because both sides would get hurt if he ever leaves, but he’s also like but at the same time I want to be closer with you…I wonder why is that.
And I remember one of the beginning Home Screen lines when you reach level 8 was that Miyaji said he wants to run away, will you come with him? And he’s like just kidding. HSJS you can really tell Miyaji really values Aruji and he probably didn’t realize he likes Aruji in a romantic way because he sees basement and Aruji as family but when it comes to Lucas, I remember he asked if Aruji prefers him or Lucas and if you say Lucas, Miyaji would be sad and be like why do you play with my feelings…
HE SAID HE NEVER CONSIDERED MARRIAGE UNTIL ARUJIW DJJDJS
BUT HE QUICKLY TAKES IT BACK WJDJJSJ
Teddy
Teddy seems like the chill doggo type but he’s quite jealous, maybe around the same level as Lono XD
Especially in star event, he sees Yuuhan holding hands together with aruji, and he keeps staring it was super obvious 🤣 and he’s really grateful to Aruji for saving him, so he definitely thinks that his life is for Aruji to have.
So far he doesn’t really show his true side but I think gradually he would show it to Aruji just like Ammon too but I think Teddy’s afraid of what Aruji might think because he couldn’t risk Aruji hating him because Aruji is his light and he thinks of Aruji as his “fated one” and when he starts to talk about things he only talks with his family to Aruji, you know he’s trusting Aruji more and more and he’s also
Bold, asking if Aruji could stay longer with him, holding his hands together, making coffee for Aruji, wanting to make Aruji smile all the time (which is why he and Lamli are both rivals XD) and you can see Teddy’s always the one who holds and carries Aruji in his arms (in the main story episode 3 and also in the secret garden one)
Yuuhan
Canonly he devoted all of himself to aruji, his body, his soul, his mind, his love, everything is aruji to have. Because it was aruji who saved his life. I can imagine him being in the same level as Berrien.
Both Berrien and Yuuhan if they break the butler rules and role, they’ll definitely be super bold to aruji XD
He wants to touch aruji coughs and he wants to be with aruji at all time, even lamenting how he couldn’t go to Aruji’s world to protect them.
The reason why I say he had heavy feelings because the first white day he had he gifted Aruji a plum flower hair pin, and in his culture, it’s pretty much a marriage proposal already XD
He doesn’t says it out loud, but he really implied in his actions skjdksj
He would watch over Hanamaru because he understands him probably XD
The way Hanamaru would get super close to aruji, he would make sure Hanamaru doesn’t do that XD
Despite he himself wants to do the same thing secretly
And Yuuhan, surprisingly said, I start to get scared of dying because I want to spend my life with you. But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t put my life to protect you, I will do whatever it takes to protect you.
Ammon sees Yuuhan, Lucas, and Lamli as his main rivals XD
Hanamaru
At first I really thought he’s the non-jealous type but
So like at the beginning I find him refreshing because all the other butlers would be like “I see you talking with other butlers but I feel uneasy, ah, I apologize, please forget about it.” And with Hana, he’s like “Nah, I don’t get jealous, but if you miss me, feel free to come back~”
It was really funny XD jsjsjsj
But when you see his butler vol. 4 memory, you can really see his possessiveness slipping, you can say he’s like a overprotective father type where he would come into your room to see you sleeping peacefully before going out, and when you didn’t come back from your world, he worries what happened to you but when he imagined you talking happily with other guys in your world, he’s like I don’t really like that-
“COME BACK ARUJIIIII”
And for the second anniversary memory, he also asked Flure since he and aruji have matching outfit, can he sew Aruji’s name in his outfit XD sjjdjd and also like during night Home Screen lines, he would also worry he couldn’t go to Aruji’s world because he couldn’t protect Aruji in his arm’s reach. At first he really didn’t care about who Aruji really is, as long as they help him achieve his goal, but the more he get to know Aruji, the more he fell deeper, and he realize wow what a nice person, and he even joked that without Aruji in his life, it’s like a daifuku without red bean paste and he’s like wait but that’s a dango, ahaha, anyways, you get what I mean XD and in one of his Home Screen lines he’s also like “Arujisama, you shouldn’t make me jealous, because a man’s jealous is more scary than you thought~” so he definitely gets jealous and he’s afraid of being alone, which is why he tends to drink and go to bars, he even jokingly? Says he would cry when Aruji is away and he would drink to that (but he drinks when Aruji is here regardless just like Lucas 🤣) and the way he would always call Aruji by name the moment he gets the chance to really shows the other butlers like, hey, we’re close~
In one of his homescreen line he also regrets he couldn’t meet aruji earlier compare to the other butlers since they have a lot of memories with aruji, but he’s also like well, time to make up for lost time~
Beren
Beren is a warm, big brother type of person who gets along with everyone well and likes to take care of others.
He’s usually the type to get rely on, since he’s “the oldest” he gets responsibilities early on and he never complains.
Rather, he enjoys taking care of children, and often spoiling them. The “reliable big brother.”
Much like Haures, they’re the type where they would pretend to be alright and tries to hide any pain and tiredness from Arujisama.
When Beren finally wakes up, a lot of time has passed already, and I wonder if he would feel like he’s being left behind in the past.
He sees Arujisama as a precious family member, often wanting Arujisama to refer to him as Berennii instead, his closeness with Arujisama early on is exactly like if someone joins the orphanage and he’s making them feel welcome.
Beren would be the type to put other people above himself, but when he met Arujisama, it was the very first time he wishes to stay so strongly by someone’s side.
He would show his playfulness by saying “you should dream of me, Arujisama.” And when he sees Arujisama with other butlers, he would be like “it’s alright, as long as I can come bid you a good night at the end.”
When it comes to comforting and pampering, if the other butlers does it better than him, I’m sure this is where his possessiveness comes in. He wishes to be the one to do it to Arujisama, hoping Arujisama to stay by his side.
And as your level with him goes up, the more he reveals about his true feelings, he would say, “hm? Arujisama? Did you think I wasn’t the jealous type?” And he admits that he is. And since Beren always fights with “living his last days” in mind, one of his voice line was him asking if Arujisama would be lonely without him, since he knows that he would be fighting until his death, yet he still wishes to be with Arujisama longer, this year, the coming year, more and more.
A “dead man” such as himself wouldn’t consider to have a family, especially he also saw how much pain Goetia was in. But after meeting Arujisama, a fire of hope is set aflame inside Beren’s heart.
He was able to meet his family again, fighting with everyone, meeting his most important one again, and this time he wouldn’t let go of his happiness.
Would he be less jealous? Maybe not, considering he is someone who has felt he had lost too many time and people, maybe he even shares the same heavy feelings like Berrien as they are “mirror” to each other.
Perhaps he’s someone who hides his heavy feelings under the guise of “family”
And slowly, he would let Arujisama rely on him.
Especially when he lost his father and he had to take the lead to protect everyone and becoming the strongest 😭 the burdens he carried on his back but he never utters a complaint. While Berrien would be scared whenever Beren goes into battle, but Beren still says that, “if i did not go and fight the angels, who will?”
Much like Arujisama is to Berrien, the existence of devil butlers relieved Beren of the burden to fight alone, to be able to fight alongside with others, have a higher chance of living. He finally could relax and do his hobbies, bee keeping and making pizza, taking care of children, spending time more as himself, making friends and family with his peers, and perhaps getting married.
Shiro
Shiro is the type where he appears cold, but he’s a really soft person within.
Despite his words might seem short and to the point, it’s caring straight on. “Get some sleep.”, “Rest well.” It sounds like orders, because it might be something Shiro is used to (possibly he’s a commander or a prince), so he couldn’t understand the distance to interact with others.
But you can really tell Shiro has a really soft spot for Aruji, gifting a bracelet as thanks when Aruji saved him from bleeding.
He calls Arujisama as “His saviour” that he’s in debt to, and despite he’s not used to the butler role, he would make Arujisama’s bed really neat, sharing sweets when Arujisama comes near, wanting to see them smile.
As the levels go up, the closer you get with Shiro, it’s really funny how his jealousy line was him widening his eyes and him going “Hah?” Because to him, it really was a shocking revelation, but at the same time he’s tsun, so he wouldn’t admit it straight on that he’s jealous but he doesn’t like the fact you got taken away.
The way he “orders” Aruji not to smile in front of the other butlers, not to go to the other butlers, tells me that Shiro is actually really strong in terms of jealousy levels.
While he is very confident in himself, but he might think he cannot rival the bonds Aruji shared with the other butlers, how the other butlers can also make Aruji laugh and smile, how the other butlers also felt happy too, and Shiro wishes Aruji to only have him in his eyes only.
And the only way he can do this is by “ordering” Arujisama to stay by his side, to not go to the other world, kind of like a white cat who’s lying there blocking Arujisama’s way XD
I definitely think Aruji is the first person to make him feel this way, since he has never been concerned about other people other than his people.
And when it comes to spending the rest of his life with, he admits that Arujisama would be the one that he wants to stay with after everything had ended.
Also in another voice line, Shiro also wanted to draw Arujisama and the way he’s considering what kind of colours to use but there’s too much, really tells how Arujisama meant to him skjsksj
His world is the white canvas that got painted by Arujisama.

Thank you for coming to my ted talk about jealous butlers and in conclusion, all of them are jealous as heck 🤣 even jealous of each other and jealous of people in Aruji’s world and jealous of everyone coming close
As you could probably tell from the length, I wrote the first 16 butlers in one go previously and it was until the addition of Beren and Shiro that I started writing about them 🤣
