Anon #1: Well, cats are actually best suited for hot climates! With the exception of ThunderClan, the Clans do great in the heat. RiverClan swims a little more, sure, but their schedules don’t change very much over the summer. The cats like it just fine (even if ThunderClan hates the shedding and the constant grooming they have to do).
fluffbrain: I would definitely do some studying on how cats fare in the desert, wild or otherwise. Their behavior would definiely influence their culture (heat and cold and how wildly it fluctuates in the desert, for example, might be seen as two gods chasing each other through the sky or something like that). As for prefixes... hm... I’m almost certain there’s a blog dedicated to prefixes in different locations, but I can’t think of it off the top of my head. Anyone know?
Anon #2: Of course! They’re a set of communities in relative isolation. There’s no way they wouldn’t come up with different phrases and accents. Language, I’m not so sure on, but everything else, definitely.
