I finally created a floorplan for Beth's farmhouse, north roughly at the top. We see three downstairs rooms in the show - kitchen, living area and laundry - and glimpses into a couple more - the disused entrance way, the pantry and a sliver of what I am calling the study. That leaves another closed door off the living area.

The Disused Entrance. It seems that in the past the track to Little Greave Farm and on to Great Greave may have come from Greave Head, to the west, making it make sense for the house entrance to be at the south west corner. There's still a public right of way footpath that goes that way. Now that the road goes past up the hill and the driveway comes in from the east the kitchen door is easier to use. Because it was the main entrance it's likely that it leads to the original house stairs, and the ones we see in the living area were built later. Or there may be another room in that north west corner, and there could be a door into the laundry, we don't quite see that corner of the laundry when Kitty is in there.

The Study. This is just my guess as what the the door under the stairs by the back wall leads to. There are no windows in the ends of the house, and no outside doors. I've split the east end of the house into two rooms for convenience sake, but it's impossible to know the actual layout.

The Pantry/Storage space. We see Beth head through the door in the kitchen to grab a bottle of wine. I've separated that off as the pantry, with another storage space behind it opening off the door in the back west of the living room, it might be walk through, but that would mean less shelf room. We see the east end wall of the laundry, so it doesn't connect to that.

And upstairs. We see the landing with a bathroom/toilet off it, a hallway with Tom and Kitty's bedrooms, and a glimpse into Beth's bedroom.

Beth's Bedroom (and the whole west end of the upstairs) - what is beyond Beth's bedroom is unknown, but her bedhead is against a wall with a door (cupboard or another room?) in it, and there's a door opposite the landing. I've presumed stairs coming up in the corner with some sort of landing/hallway, it'd make more sense for Beth's other door to open onto that, maybe the room I've marked as storage or workroom because it has one small window is actually the ensuite and there's another smaller bedroom on the north wall instead.

Bathroom. We see Kitty go into the right hand door on the landing looking for a toilet on the first morning, then time skip to her coming out the same door dressed to go downstairs with a toilet flushing behind her, so maybe that room is a bathroom with toilet included, and the other door off the landing is a linen cupboard or other storage, or further entry to the space behind Beth's bedroom.

Tom and Kitty's Bedrooms. The hallway is only half length - about two doorways worth, and their doors are opposite each other. I'm not sure if the whole recess is given over to Tom's room or if it's split with Kitty's. Both headboards are against the east end of the house, and there are more than two walls from the bed end to the door in Tom's but I couldn't quite count four.

The differences in the stone suggest it was built in at least three sections over time, and after listening to a webinar on Yorkshsire farmhouses it seems the typical pattern for farms built about 350 years ago was a thatched stone building with one entry hallway in the middle, opening to human habitation on one side and animals on the other. Typically this was then raised to have a stone/slate roof added with a second floor under it, upstairs rooms on the human side and a hay loft over the animal stalls. A separate human entrance would be added and the door into the animal side blocked off. The building might be extended or leantos added. And eventually separate barns would be built for the animals and the building becomes human only and other amenities are added over time.

And then I found someone who talked about living on the farm in the 1950s and it was just a scullery, living area, and two rooms upstairs, "the rest was barns" (but not byres), which I take to mean only the west half of the building was a house. The curved arch would have been the shared main entry when it was first built, and remained as the farm side entry, conveniently big enough for wagons and tractors as well as cows. Fascinating that it was still split that way so recently.

They describe it now as "5 bedroom detached luxury". I guess there are various options for which the other two 'bedrooms' are, from a real estate point of view.
