Sammy is listening to a witness's sad story.

"My, my, such a young, handsome man. And look at you! Such fine hair you have there," came the silken tones of Madam Snelling, lounged against the doorframe of her shop.

"What a stunning blond mane," she continued, her voice like honey. "But my trained eye can see that you could look even more suave with a new look." Her words were a masterclass in sweet-talking.

"Looking for a change, are we? Come in, oh, come in. Don't be shy, darling. What do you think?" she asked, her eyes gleaming.

"A trim? Maybe a perm? I make excellent perms. Trust me, darling, by the time I'm done with you, even the merpeople in the Black Lake will be envious. Or maybe you want it to be longer? I can turn you into a Rapunzel. Or perhaps more the rough farm boy kind of style? What is it you might be interested in?"

Nearly trips over the cobblestones in attempts to get out of Madam Snelling's line of fire, but her words had him slowing his steps to a stop. Such lovely compliments. They might have had the peacock preening just a bit.

He ran his hand through his hair, soaking it all in. "Stunning? do you really think so?" He ponders her offers....maybe not Rapunzel....plus he already had the rough farm boy look, didn't he? And her eyes were gleaming a little too much for his liking.

"Not today Madam Snelling, but maybe if you play your cards right I'll come back in the future. It does take a trained hand to be able to tame this mane, after all."

He struts walks away quite proud regardless.
