okay   LISTEN .   do   you   actually   know   what   a   talented   and   gifted   person   you   are   !  ?   EVERYTHING   you   put   onto   your   blog   is   aesthetically   pleasing ,   wonderfully   written   and   so   fleshed   out   that   i   can  ‘  t   but   read   your   stuff   with   amazement .   thank   you   for   this ,   hearing   this   from   someone   like   you   really   makes   me   feel   incredibly   honored .

                        “   O - OH  !   ha  ,   um  ,   ”   he’s   so   taken   aback   that   someone   other   than   his   own   mother   would   care   enough   to   remember   his   birthday  .   so   much   so   that   he   forgets   his   MANNERS   in   how   to   respond  .   “   thank   you  ,   luci  .   tha - that   means   a   lot  .   really  .   ”   graciously  ,   he   accepts   the   little   book  ,   unable   to   help   growing   grin  .   it’s   the   first   actual   birthday   present   he’s   gotten   in   YEARS   ---   his   mom   can’t   exactly   pick  one   up   for   him  .   he’s   glowing   when   green   eyes   meet   sapphire  .   “   it’s   perfect  .   thank   you  .   ”

whether it’s arthur or joker or both....i’m v much down for a budding friendship absolutely. heck why not expand it over the plot of the movie yknow

                        “   t - to   tell   you   the   truth  ,   i - i   have   thought   about   um   .  .  .   doing   a   show   here  ,   ”   his   every   muscle   &   bone   is   RESTLESS  .   shoulders   shrug  ,   his   head   shakes   yet   he   smiles   through   it   all  .   it   can’t   be   helped   ---   beautiful   women   tie   his   nerves   into   knots  .   “   but   i   don’t   know  .   l - last   time   i   did   something   like   that  ,   it   .   .  .  ”   a   sigh   deflates   him  ,   chewed   nails   plucking   at   hairs   of   his   brow  .   “   it   didn’t   go   well  .   ”

precisely, like!! i actually liked what they did a lot because it’s kind of similar to what the book does??? in the book, it’s almost easy to think that jekyll might be a good person because he tries to make it seem like he is, but once you look a little bit beyond the surface, it becomes overwhelmingly apparent that he’s horrible. same with the film. the first time you watch it, it seems like he’s good, but he gets a hell of a lot shadier once you look past the surface.
