So we know Billy is a womanizer, and there is a VERY high likely that at some point there was a chance of him getting a girl pregnant.

Julie's mom didn't know who got her knocked up, so she just picked a boy (not Billy) and settled down with him.

Julie is 100% her father's daughter, blonde curls and bright blue eyes. Also a jackass-

Evelyn is much more like Nancy than Steve, since Evelyn sees Nancy as her aunt.

If Julie is a pauper, Evie is the princess.

She'd rather stay inside than go biking so she can read, and time travel through a destroyed and possibly now even more uninhabitable Einstein-Rosen bridge of a pocket dimension? Hell no!

Evelyn = Book smart, Julie = Street smart.

Anyway so now Julie runs away from home to Hawkins to find out what happened to her actual dad and finds the other kids, and when Nancy/Steve/Johnathan/Max hear who her dad was? ooh booy..

Because Billy was flayed shortly before Julie was created, she has a weird connection to the Upside Down and Mind Flayer, kinda like Will post-season 1 but she can sense the hive-mind. Not completely, as she isn't flayed herself, but she can feel it under the earth sometimes and can faintly sense when someone has been flayed.

Also, 90% was based off 1985 by Bo Burnham, because the Upside Down is stuck in 1983, so what if it could be used to time travel? (the other 10 percent was based on Secrets of Sulfur Springs, that show is really good, go watch it.)
