Summary:
It took a while for Keith to identify the feeling that rushed through his chest every time he saw Shiro: when Shiro caught his eye from the opposite end of the mess hall, when Keith saw him smiling in groups of other junior officers, when any of the cadets spoke Shiro’s name with a reverence that proved they didn’t know anything beyond the poster boy’s glowing reputation.

I’m rewatching liberty’s kids and
in addition to the crazy amount of nostalgia, I’m once again remembered that HOLY COW DO I SHIP JAMES AND SARAH. HE MADE HER A NECKLACE TO REPLACE THE ONE SHE LOST, OUT OF THE RING HE WORE FROM MOTHER. There’s a lot of emotion going on right now.

Yesh...he always finds some way to prove me wrong. I remember when we used to debate (a nicer term for argue) all the time. Do you remember, we'd "debate" until 7 am? You knew the me at that time. You were my cheerer upper...my crutch. I don't think you knew that, though. I never told you a thing, but you seemed to be able to help. Now, we're changed...leading different lives. Who would've guessed?
