so yeah if you didn’t see my decision yesterday, it’s actually going to be a series of towns instead of trying to fit everything in one. i’m excited but it’ll be a lot more work!

castele:

characters: laura, ophelia, pam [?], player

villagers: kiki, boomer, knox, sterling, alli, velma, graham[?], elvis, paula [?]

paula/pam is dependent on which one i use, two people said that paula reminds them of pam [and i agree!] but i kind of want to make pam’s house in the game, it’s important! so...

port puerto:

characters: olivia, andy, brutus, player

villagers: rod, vic, bud, o’hare, flora, tangy, marina [with custom mermaid house?]

al maajik:

characters: damien, odin, ????, player

villagers: ankha, lucky, muffy, saharah, simon, monty, clay, diva, coco

haven’t decided on the last character bc i want someone who’s not part of the family but they’re basically the entire al maajik storyline except that one racist tool

grassy plains/mt snowpeak/elderwood

characters: elmie, the indubitable crowned champion, florina, player

villagers: blanche, gayle, boone, sheldon, croque, grizzly], hans

terra nimbus/lunares

characters: yuelia, noelia, todd, player

villagers: skye, nate, tucker, bluebear, kody, octavian[?]

so yeah this isn’t a complete list but it’s what i’ve got so far. you might’ve noticed, every town is going to have a character named “player” and that’s where i’m going to use people’s designs from the game! [originally i was just going to have the other characters’ houses have “player” rooms but realized i wanted to do too much with them already.] you might’ve noticed the lack of origin island, that one will be done very last if i’m not burned out by then haha. so i haven’t really started planning it out [even though i do have plans but they’re not as concrete].

if you have suggestions for more villagers, feel free to let me know. i went on both villagers’ appearances [do they resemble a person/creature in the game?] and/or the interiors of their houses. i might add in more bear cubs bc they resemble plushlings but i don’t want to have too many of them :)

oh and for characters, i wanted to stay with storyline specific characters, not life characters. so that’s why there are no life masters or anything! [except elmie but she’s a part of elderwood and also an overlooked cutie, so.] but they’re okay if a villager resembles them [like kiki/jynx] :)

but i’ve worked in a LOT of villagers i’ve always wanted to spend time with [coco, boomer, saharah, skye!!] so i’m pretty excited about this list.
