before i post my 1.2k words worth of outsiders tour opinions that don’t even include the socs yet. i do need everyone to know that emma hearn is the best cherry valance. her arc in the four scenes we see her is so crystal clear. incredible storytelling from her. she starts out from a place where she doesn’t understand ponyboy off the bat, and in the midst of Beginning to listen and get to know him is when bob catches them and everything happens. it’s so much more interesting that way. masterclass i’m so serious

WELL. 49,266. :)
Did you try anything new this year? (New fandom? New pairing? New language?)
yeahhhh a new fandom. a new fandom. wow i wonder what it could be. maybe the fandom where most of the words are from even though yall only got 2.5 fics from it (it's the outsiders. it's that outsiders dawg in me)
Did you participate in any fests/events during the year?
well, yes! three! first up was my dear, dear newsies fic exchange which wrapped up in jan 2025 <3 run by me! very sorry to not have done a 25-26 this winter, but that's because i did a server-wide outsiders fic event that'll get posted to ao3 super soon :) i also did some art for an upcoming outsider's zine as well hosted by @alaskan-wallflower !!
Which is the funniest fic you have written this year?
man i did not delve much into the sillies. there's some lovable jack-race-davey banter in i see you've moved up in the world, though.
Which is the angstiest fic you have written this year?
was abt to say painting over mirrors but that was dec '24, oops. maybe also i see you've moved up bc i kinda beat the hell out of jack and spot. that'll do it
Which is the steamiest fic you have written this year?
well. i can tell you it will be MVP (most vulnerable player) but that chapter(s) is still in the drafts. but like very much tune in so soon.
Which is your most valuable writing lesson learned this year?
besides that i can do a pretty consistent 850 wpm when i have an outline, probably that like... posting just a scene from an idea is okay. not everything has to be this huge au with multiple chapters, sometimes 1.5k words of a Moment are just as valuable and loved.
What do you look forward to writing next year?
MVP STUFF!! that is my big boy chapter fic of 2026. and alongside that, my goal is to try and write and post regularly, both here & on ao3. and trying not to only write one thing. writing should be a Practice not a post.
