If asked to give counsel, Iβd speak against attempting cabinetry of any real import with only a battery powered circular saw, a router, and a straightedge. That advice would be coming from the same jackass whoβs used their manual lathe CNC-ly and mill-wise (not to mention the time I ran a 1750 Β°F-peak heat treat cycle on a wooden third floor balcony), so letβs not take it too seriously, eh?
This is all to say the salvaged straightedge, thirdhand router, and big-ass viseless bench are coming in handy. Carcass done, minus glue-up; just need to dado about a million drawer guides more or less freehand. My kingdom for a $300 table saw fence and a $100+ dado stack. We do make do, donβt we?
This cabinet will be installed in my (also salvaged) rolling abrasives station. I need somewhere to put wheels and sandpaper scraps other than my pockets. Things are getting itchy.
