Did I forget to upload my latest Fitz and Fool...again ?
I finished Assassin's Fate and I feel traumatized
Seeing rote stuff on my dash in 2021 like
At the end of Fool's Fate, Fitz says "I am content." It is the very last line of the book. He says it because it's true. He has a life of his own, he's satisfied with it, he's no longer a pawn for Buckkeep politics, he's content. But that's it. He doesn't say he's happy and fulfilled with all that life has given him. He doesn't say that he has everything he's ever wanted, because he doesn't. There's one thing missing from his life that is keeping it from being more than just contentment. He's missing the Fool, his Beloved. As seen at the end of Assassin's Fate, Fitz's life isn't complete and he isn't whole until he has his Fool.

Fanart to that heartbreaking scene from the book "Fool's Fate" of "The Tawny Man Trilogy” by Robin Hobb. Fitz and the Fool fall through the snow of the frozen island Aslevjal, straight to the icy tunnels ruled by the Pale Woman. She was awaiting them, and the clash between the two White Prophets begins! Who is the true prophet and who is the false??
I'm about halfway through Fool's Assassin, and I have So Many Feels about Fitz and Bee!!!!
But primarily that there's just no doubt at all whose kid she is when she's 70% moody dumbass on main (all Fitz), 20% reflexively defiant (Fitz and Beloved both) and 10% Immediately Outraged (Molly!!!). When Shun took that shot at Fitz by calling Bee a bastard I laughed so hard. Anybody who knew Fitz at all would see all of his most defining features in her immediately.
Her whole 'my father whom I've aggressively avoided and been utterly disinterested in since literally the moment of my birth doesn't understand my needs or pay enough attention to me and I resent him for it' thing is such peak young Fitz behavior. I'm so in love with her. I hope she only becomes more magnificent and outrageous.
