Quick Resistance Bands Arm Workout
I love resistance bands. They are great for strength training (you can use them to replace weights), lightweight, super portable, easy to use and adaptable based on your fitness level.
I usually have one stashed in my gym bag and always carry one when I travel.
Speaking of travel, I created this simple but effective, 4 exercise arm workout using resistance bands on a recent trip. It works your entire upper body and doesn’t require a lot of space or time.
The Workout:
Perform each of the following exercises for the prescribed number of reps:
Biceps Curls - 3 x 12 reps
Tricep Kickbacks - 3 x 12 reps
Overhead Press - 3 x 12 reps
Upright Rows - 3 x 12 reps
(click on each exercise to see a video demo from my exercise library)
You can do this workout as a circuit, performing 1 set of 12 reps of each exercise in order and then repeating it 2 more times for a total of 3 sets. *Rest 30-60 seconds in between sets*
OR
You can do this workout as a superset, performing the reps in of the first two exercises back to back with no rest until you complete 3 sets. Then you can take a break before moving on to the remaining two exercises.
It’s totally up to you.
As always please be sure to warm up before performing this workout.
