As I promised, here is a translation of my picture book about my journey as a dancer, fitness instructor and yoga teacher.

I've been moving nonstop ever since I was a child, I was always on some courses or did some sports, until dance found me in high-school. Latin and ballroom dancing took me from hobby to competing and then modern and contemporary straight to the Hungarian Dance Academy and later to the pedagogy department of Anton Bruckner University. During my active years I danced around Europe, mainly with project and seasonal contracts.

In 2006 I made my dancer debut at Papp László Sport Arena in 56 Drop Blood in front of  about 10000 people, and in the following 15 years I had the luck to stay on stage in many various projects in and outside of my homeland. I worked in theaters, musicals, modern and contemporary dance pieces, circus, revue shows, concert tours, exhibition openings, and even film productions.

I've been actively working during my studies, mainly on projects with my seniors at the Academy, sometimes fusing dance styles like modern & flamenco.

On top of that I could debut as a choreographer with my dance etude 'Stone Statues' which was awarded at the Academy's competition. Later on I was asked to made a full 20 min dance piece, named 'Message from a Bottle'

Films

I got to work on some films and series too, which were set in Hungary. Such as the Borgias with Jeremy Irons and NBC's Dracula with Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Or the Maigret TV film, where I was in the same scene with Rowan Atkinson. This was set in Budapest Moulin Rouge right before it closed permanently and I also made the short choreography for the girls on stage.

Social Dace

2011 - 12 were the years of International Salsa and Kizomba Festivals. Not only I was in the organizer team, but also did workshops at the events. You can see a photo of my Contact Improvisation workshop on II. Budapest Kizomba Connection Festival in the right lower corner.

Consla

Fun fact: I wrote my uni thesis about the fusion of salsa and cotemporary dance.

Pole

I started pole dancing also around that time, later on I started to teach it as well. This sport was a real love at first sight. A wonderful mix of strenght, flexibility and artistic expression.

That year took me lots of steps forward and backwards, like a full choreography. In april I left the Horror house to get back to coaching. I spent a very hectic six weeks in Ireland. It was a real emotional rollercoaster, to say the least. Meeting again an old friend of mine, working together with her and the kids in Boyle, prepping for the National FitKid championship was really a great time. I was very sad that other circumstances did not turn out in my favor to be able to stay.

Getting back to Hungary feeling a bit disappointed, didn't mean I had time to pace around too much, so I started job hunting again. My aim was to find something related to fitness or dance. Not even a month later I found myself in a receptionist position at Egressy Fitness. A small, amicable gym, in th 14th disrtrict, quite far from where I'm living. Tho I had to travel quite a lot, and work on weekends, we could always manage my schedule to have the days off for me to attend my programmes. I could even work again with my Horror folks in Family Park for Halloween season.

So all in all, 2024 was adventurous, more of learning to deal with personal situations, focusing inwards, and planning my next moves.

Less about professional development - just realised, the last time I took on some courses, it was 2023. - Anyway, I'll leave here pictures of those too. And move onto 2025 plans.

Az az év úgy táncoltatott előre - hátra, mint egy jól megírt koreográfia. Miután áprilisban elhagytam a Horror házat, hogy visszatérjek az edzői élethez, másfél hektikus hónapot töltöttem Írországban. Igazi érzelmi hullámvasút volt, mit ne mondjak. Az öröm mellett, hogy egy régi jóbarátommal dogozhattam együtt és az izgalom a gyerekek felkészítésével a Nemzeti Fitkid Bajnokságra fantasztikus volt, sajnos mellette voltak olyan tényezők, amelyek nem tették számomra lehetővé, hogy hosszú távon ott maradjak.

Visszatértem magyarországra, de csalódottságom nem jelentette, hogy túl sok időm van céltalanul lézengeni. Ismét neki kezdtem a munkakeresésnek, azzal a céllal, hogy fitness vagy tánc közelben legyek. Nem egész egy hónappal később pedig már az Egressy Fitness recepcióján találtam magam. Egy 14. kerületi családias hangulatú kis terem. Igaz elég messze lakom tőle, és hétvégente is dolgozom, de mindig sikerült megoldanunk az egyéb programokon való részvételem, sőt , még a Horror házas pajtikkal is el tudtam menni a Family Parkba a Halloween szezonra.

Mindent egybevetve, 2024 igazán kalandos volt, viszont inkább személyes fejlődés szempontjából. Hogyan kezeljek személyes helyzeteket és fókuszáljak önmagamra, és tervezzem további utam.

Kevesebb figyelmet kapott a szakmai fejlődés - most jöttem rá, hogy legutóbb 2023-ban jutottam el tanfolyamokra. - De arról is itt hagyok egy képet, és mozdulok tovább a 2025-és tervek felé.
