How to Get Your First Pull-Up by megsquatsÂ
Hey, But What If I Don’t Have A Pull-Up Bar?
No problem dude/dudess! First thing to do: check out Amazon pull-up bars that attach to your doorway. A lot of them are decent, for a decent price. Very practical! Second thing: have a look around your area to see if there are any playgrounds around. They might have enough for you to work with! No gym membership needed! Hurrah! #skintfitness
No playgrounds? Or struggling with #sociallyawkwardfitness? (Okay, I’ll stop with the hashtags now.) No problemo. Don’t give up on your warrior path. There’s loads more you can do!
1) Plank rows with challenging dumbbells. Alternatively/additionally: batwings.
2) Simply holding the plank does you good - hold for 60 sec, break 15 sec, times 3 (aka 3 min total)
3) Crawling exercises (yup... have fun, kids!)

But, But, you cry, I Have No Equipment!
Dude. Dudess. Don’t worry. You can get become a strong hard-ass warrior with a pair of good shoes for running and bodyweight exercises (I recommend HIIT in order to make this challenging for yourself).Â
... However! It’s worthwhile getting some equipment. It doesn’t cost the world. I know we’re not all swimming in money, but if you enjoy working out, it really does pay off for you. Getting yourself a pair of challenging dumbbells and a kettlebell you feel comfortable both swinging and lifting overhead can do loads for you. Look up prices and consider whether it’s something worth investing in - if you really enjoy this weird fitness stuff, it will be.
